You could expand it to "no projectile- and spell damage", but this Keystone would be a must have for each and every melee build and nothing more than a band-aid.


Well... You know what I mean, any non melee skill.

They could also introduce a unique that grants the keystone and also isn't completely terrible to allow any class to use it regardless of the skill tree placement.

no it doesnt, It got nerfed in some 0.11 something, works like only 15% of full potential. You don't read patch nodes apparently...no offense

These monsters, and their equivalent versions in Maps have 50% reduced curse effect:

Brutus
Vaal Oversoul
Merveil
Piety (Does not apply in the Crematorium)

All other Map bosses have 40% reduced curse effect!

so about 15-20% reduced dmg / crit multiplier when talking 1000's is STILL a lot

I hve like 2200hp and 2500 armor on him he is lvl 59, I just did Kole (again) and got hit by him (again) multiple times, and lived. I have same amount of HP left after Kole (same Kole, same difficuly) hits my damn Tank (52% armor on lvl 81, so its like 70% on lvl 59 for same amount?) and 4000hp?

Please at least try. Just saying "you wrong bro" means nothing. Sorry. I will team up with you just to show you what I am talking about. And he hits harder if two are in party and I will still live if he doesnt crit.

2200 dmg sounds about right for no armor, it was 3k / 4.5k damage average before nerf for crit / non crit. And nerf was around 25%

52% means nothing lol .... character screen approximation haha ... what armor / how much endurance charges? and how much hp taken off in one hit with your tank? could have been a crit

He wouldnt hit a kaoms 9k hp player for 70% of his hp, that would be retarded.

It doesn't really matter at all, fact is that bosses like Kole and Vaal easily one shot you with armor except when you go all defense and use granites, curses, Endurance charges and Enfeeble.

I think it shouldn't be that way, I would rather have those Granite flask removed entirely and just have decent armor to begin with, also without Endurance charges (use those only to get superior armor). Same goes for Diamond flasks if you ask me.

@JahIthBerTirUmMalLumKoKoMal: What are you trying to prove? GGG already acknowledged that armor is not working very well (actually melee is not balanced with ranged, but the main reason is the armor mechanic), read the manifesto. Hell, I don't know if you read patch nodes but lately they have been working on improving melee a lot. Also the latest patch with the changes in the Ranger section include a lot of passive changes that are a result of that as well. So stop trying to convince us that armor is fine because it isn't.

What do you mean armor isnt working well? Did you again ignore the part where juhazz had 2khp left after vaal smash, or the fact I can take less than 1k per hit from kole crit using all out armor / defense gear? And thats vs the biggest hits in the game. I can just facetank and laugh all day long, baby.

Armor works, it doesnt work if you dont invest in it. Or if you are running some POS physi crit / evasion glass cannon build. Get it through that thick skull of yours.

And from other thread, quoting myself on eva glass cannon vs armor tank:

your eva character will be running with maximum 10k armor ... total crap

I will build a tank that can fetch 50k+ armor vs big hitters when I need it, and have a minimum of 5 endurance charges (one passive at least, and quest reward)

your eva char: 4k hit: 10k / 58k = 17% + 12% reduction 3 charges = 29% reduction = 2840 dmg

my armor tank: 50k / 98k = 51% + 20% = 71% = 1160 dmg

Thats around 60% effective reduction, with 2 less charges than I would run.

I would take 840 though as I would be running 2 more charges xD. And then regen it / leech it back in like 2-3 seconds while my block tells him 'dont make me laugh Kole'

Your eva character will be 1 shot if he isnt running enough life nodes and doesnt have decent +life in every slot.

Stopped reading again: It is you that is being very ignorant and I will tell you again: The fact that armor works for RT/Life Marauder/Templar with only defensive passives using Granites, Endurance charges and Enfeeble and just survives those Vaal/Kole slams that way doesn't say anything.

Please open your eyes, you are ignoring what GGG already confirms just because YOU don't experience it.
