" actually don´t know if they got goty from any site. i know they got nominated, but in all fairness, they had alot more competition than poe did this year (mass effect 3, skyrim, borderlands 2, portal 2 and so on). also, poe got goty from 1 site, not as if the gaming world all united in voting poe for goty. d3 did set a few records tho, fastest selling game and worst launch^^ think simcity stole the title for the last one tho. look m8, all im saying is i really dont feel poe deserves goty until they fix their game. the problems the game had in closed beta are still just as bad today as they where back then. and i see no effort at all from ggg´s side in trying to correct it. they just want to add more microtransactions and a skill gem every now and then. if you ask me the game should still maintain its beta status, that way the 50 posts a day about desync could just be answered with "beta is beta". now there isn´t really an excuse anymore Последняя редакция: Seraphim5#5878. There go your supporter packs. Just remember what happened to the reviewer of Kane & Lynch on Gamespot and what several reviewers did after he got fired for an undesired review. Now you got only sheep listining to orders. Remember when a company removed all ads of a site and claimed that the review was made from a leaked debug version? |

Well, Blizzard may be crying...joyous tears of money. People bought that shit, people still buy their shit in the fucking millions. People will buy the fuck out of RoS, still.
I honestly can't agree with the GOTY award, to me that says something about the state of the PC gaming industry, or perhaps more about the related reviewing (which has been dodgy for god knows how long). Not to say that it isn't genuine, I just couldn't consider PoE game of the year with the issues it has, specifically regarding gameplay mechanics. |

Blizzard crying? maybe so maybe not, and about what? many reasons...
but as for PoE gaining accolades and high standing among the gaming community? we pretty much all saw that coming. The first clip I saw of PoE was on an SC2 stream, psystarcraft to be specific. The moment I saw this clip... I thought Diablo 2's successor. I in no way felt at the time D3 was the successor. Did not expect to have a successor. Thought we were boned honestly. then I saw PoE in open beta... downloaded it on the spot... didnt even finnish watching psy stream... holy crap guys... I actually stopped playing SC2 and watching streams of it, and Psy. PoE is a game for gamers, no one here is surprised ;) maybe outsiders are, but we all saw this coming a mile away. A whole whack of you realized this was coming during CLOSED beta... hell you guys helped pay for the development!! GGG: when the time comes for your next game, could be years away... I have no doubt you will do a good job on it. For now, PoE occupies and has occupied almost all of my game time. |
