D3 came out in 2012...and it didn't not receive any award in 2012 except it's the fastest selling pc game.

Who cares? D3 failed in many ways. I was highly disappointed like many others..however I disagree with most of the fanboys here who simply hate on it for all the wrong reasons. You guys say the AH killed the game - yet you turn around and say trading in poe sucks? Trading in PoE is awful. It's filled with merchants who do nothing but camp trade chat and never step into a fucking map to farm/grind do anything other than trade. They sit there and trade off the high end players who are to lazy to wait for better deals and settle for quick sales from these merchants.

The AH went bad when the dupes happened..that's what killed it when the market crashed, but before then shit I liked the AH. It was an easy spot to sell items and compare similar items to sell. I could sell items while I was still farming for more. It was different than the traditional barter system we have in PoE, but no one knows how to barter there, and like I said it's annoying getting nothing but god damn lowballs all day long..I'd rather stick my item up for sale to where real buyers can look for it and offer there.

The community here hates on Blizzard and D3, like I said, for all the wrong reasons. You just sound like arrogant fanboys. Blizz is making an effort to clean up things with the expansion, and I look forward to RoS.

Once again, do you think blizzard cares if the game didn't get nominated? You do realize how many games they have made that are considered some of the best of ALL TIME? GGG doesn't even come close to standing along side of Blizzard, because blizz has been around longer with a lot more accolades to their name. GGG has done phenomenal, no doubt about that.

But for you to seriously think blizz is crying over this? Please. They still are worth billions, where GGG is *maybe* worth in the lower millions..and that's a strong maybe. Not even sure if they are there yet.

I hope they get there, but honestly. Think about it people.

I think to qualify for 'hateful' there needs to be a measure of venom and invective. There needs to be actual hatred in the post, not just a post about hatred.

Not that I hate Blizzard or (other) soulless corporations, because they make the world go round, but if I did, I don't think me saying 'I hate Blizzard and here's why' would be necessarily hateful unless I were doing it in a tone 'filled with hatred'.

In fact, if I did hate Blizzard, I'd say they were hateful, in that they were 'deserving of' hatred.

One can argue that the phrase "soulless corporation" is already a mark of hatred. It is certainly neither a neutral remark or positive remark about a company, it is a negative subjective one.

It is also relevant to note that hateful also has follow definition: "2. Feeling or showing hatred; malevolent."

So, yes posting "I hate A and this is why", would per definition be a hateful post since it definitely shows hatred.


Edit: Of course, if GGG were serious about their "No hateful posts", they would have edited far more posts than they do now. But no, it is of course like you may have guessed only about the "wrong" sort of "Hateful posts", which is subjectively decided by GGG.

And people wonder why there is so much corruption, injustice and nepotism in the world: because when people are free to choose their own systems, they will far too often choose a system based on their own preferences and they will choose to enforce their system in whatever manner pleases them at the moment.

And yes, this post is per definition a hateful post. I hate corruption, nepotism and injustice XD. My hate towards those is supposed to shine through.

Of course, designing a justice system takes effort, but given that they've already implemented a system, they should at least try to follow it as best they can. If they think the underlying rule system is flawed, then change the rules, but while the rules are the rules they should be enforced no matter how the enforcer personally thinks of them and no matter what the creator was hoping to create. Why? Because that is needed for fairness and justice.

Wouldn't blizzard have had to release an aRPG this year to be in the least bit upset?

You think blizz is crying over PoE? Why? PoE took MANY aspects of Diablo 2 and has used them in their game..if anything Blizzard knows that they were the starters of the ARPG genre (definitely the most popular) so why should they be mad? There game was good enough that another game stole a lot of idea's and mechanics from it to use in their own game.

D3 won the most disappointing game of my entire life. Ya I even built a time machine and traveled to the day of my death just to clarify. I told myself without hesitation "Yes its still Diablo 3, nothing else has ever come close".
