" Well I got the same with gambler, I would have expected a a common card (similar to Inner Treasure), but getting a new gambler was quite funny^^. " Well I would say that mirrors should be removed. They are a drop that is so random that is basically breaks your game when you drop it. It is not the effect it is the currency you get for it. You can instantly equip your character with incredible powerful gear. It also means that once somebody has a mirrorworthy piece of equip creating your own mirrorworthy piece isn't that beneficial anymore, since it is cheaper to mirror that one. But I wouldn't agree that Divination Cards are only for the rich, they are actually quite interesting for all players, although not all of the cards. A rich player will not care about some of the common cards, while they will benefit other players. |

The point of div cards was to increase the drop rate of a certain item in a certain area, and it does that. Some (most) of them, are for extremely rare items, that most people with 1000 hours of gameplay haven't seen drop, so of course these cards are going to be rare as hell. Some of them are for currency, and you just want more of those, and won't stop at just one, so those are usually rarer than finding the item themselves (gcps and wisdom scrolls seem to be an exception), and they should be. Then some are for more common things and they pop up a lot of the time, some are still really useful, and some are not, but they're pretty easy to farm.
It's true that div cards don't benefit people who trade a whole lot, because it's always going to be easier to trade for something than farm it, but for self found people I imagine these are going to be a great boon. The main problem with them is that they're all player made, and most players wanted their card to be really sought after, so they all picked high end currency or stupidly rare items, and in turn the cards got stuck in high end maps with low drop rates. Also you can just think of the gambler as a bonus, you're not going to change what you're already doing to get it, it just shows up sometimes, and you can get another card for it. I do sort of think that the gambler itself should be removed from the pool of things you can get from it, but it's kind of funny. Последняя редакция: j33bus#3399. Время: 22 июл. 2015 г., 13:48:44

"" If you farm an area for Card X, which turns in for Item X, and only find one in (what you consider) a reasonable amount of time (or even, an excessive amount of time), then you have just made Item X that much cheaper, even if you cannot use it directly or immediately. It is obvious to see how this benefits "the rich," or those buying the cards, but if you cannot also see how this also reciprocates into benefitting "the poor," then it's no wonder you're "the poor." At least, I am assuming you're PoE-poor, since you categorically separated the player base into two groups, and implied you were not in the "rich man's" group. I.e., the problem is not this feature, it's subjecting yourself to a false dichotomy. Devolving Wilds Land “T, Sacrifice Devolving Wilds: Search your library for a basic land card and reveal it. " Everyone worked up over DC seemed to have this mentality. Why again should DC have a significant impact on the game? Is it because they cost $1000? That can't be the reason, otherwise a single niche unique is by definition totally inconsequential to overall experience for Poe population. The 10k creature is then tenfold less impactful. DC are just something else in the game that can drop. GGG gives the player slightly more control, and people proceed to lose their minds. You guys are overthinking DC. Before 2.0 - > Farming for an item was completely wide open. There was no specific zone to farm for it, unless gated by ilvl. After 2.0 -> Farming for an item is only slightly less wide open. If I really want a prismatic ring, then I know which single zone to focus my efforts. This is the extent of the DC impact. It's really quite simple. It's not axiomatic that because GGG designed a feature, and it's incorporated in their complex game, that said feature must also be crazy complicated. |

90% of divination cards are useless + decreased drop rates for their respective items + no proper trading system in the game + needing like 9 cards to trade for 1 item = overall worse experience and harder time getting what you want.
