Please remove useless real money effect restrictions

So yes, to the point. I think that every MTX should have infinite uses. For example, I want to be able to use my infernal weapon effect on my ground slam marauder at the same time I am using my infernal weapon effect on my discharge templar.

They still are, however, a BUSINESS. Businesses need money to run. No money, no GGG, no Path. They need money to keep the servers running that this community play on. Less money for them = fewer devs and fewer servers. Fewer devs means fewer patches, less content, and more bugs. Fewer servers means more lag, meaning more people will quit to shitty ping, or ragequit from desync deaths (more lag means less lockstep), or just quit from boredom. Fewer people playing means less money on top of the less money they were getting before, leading to, again, fewer devs and servers.

It's their company, let them run it how they see fit.

yes i don't use them for the same reason even tho i got quite a few....

it's just too annoying to handle them all and i can't even find more than half of my mtx anymore!

I support a "Recall Button" for all of your mtx gear but i personally dont need it.


For me its the price of all the MTX Items.
I played World of Warcraft for about 15 Months.
Thats 150 worth of Monthly Costs and about ~+30 for the game itself.
Thats 180€ for a lot of fun during this time.

I'm no longer able to play as much as i want to and i've spent about one third of the time I spent on WoW playing Path of Exile since the release.
But even with the full 180€ I'd be unable to customize a single Character in the way I want to.

So what did I do? Well i bought some points because its a game worth supporting, got me some sweet stash tabs (Honestly the game is only technically free, u can't live without some more tabs unless u're masochistic), and a sweet weapon MTX which i proudly use on all of my Characters.
Even if it doesn't fit their theme :D

But beyond that, i spent nothing. Because it doesn't feel right to spend far more on a game than that you think that it is worth/can afford, and to be still unable to customize the 2-3 Characters that you are currently playing in a way that seems thematically fitting.
Or god beware, a diffrent Character from a diffrent class in a diffrent season.
Take the Cast on Crit Changes as an Example. Or the nerf to flicker strike.(In form of bloodrage)

No i don't want to have cool tentacle Wings on my Templar.
Its a holy Warrior not some thing from hell.




On a side note: I'm not agains really expensive skins/MTX or anything.
i'm thankfull for the people who bought the 1.1k supporter packs.
I will too in the future. Its the Game we all want and deserve.
But in the meantime i'd like to spend a reasonable amount on it and not just end up with nothing but a glooming stick in my hand and a cool chestpiece.

they're not charging you anything to play it

seriously stop whining

you dont need an mtx to play the game

if youre going about useless, all armor/weapon/skill/pet/decoration mtx are useless

stashes and character slots are the only useful ones

TBH, "reclaim all" and "MTX for the slot, not the gear" sounds reasonable, and I"m not opposed to that - I don't, personally, find it as a big problem. :V

No. They would not.

$42 for a set of armor. They can afford to make it global.

Most people buy things on sale, the actual price is more like the discounted price.

Keep in mind optimum sales (and customer satisfaction) are not necessarily attained with a static price. The trickle of people who buy something when it's not on sale versus the flood when it is can add up to more total sales and total revenue than just the steady flow at a price in between.
