How often do you get that lucky drop?

Didnt seen any T1 unique in Prophecy league, even tho i played 50+ days in game... my rng sux on progressive level.

I dont see the need to be offensive to me, about my pricing. The point of this thread is good drops worth multiple exalts. If you dont see that these are worth multiple exalts regardless of the price I have them at, then you are the dreamer thinking you can get these rolls shelling out some chaos ;)

These gloves pretty much aren't anything special. But poe.trade users sell similar for something about 5ex. I bought them for 3c though. You probably don't realize that traders on the website sometimes have no clue about the value and end up there forever.

To the topic, you're not unlucky. Many people think that they are unlucky because they compare amount of good drops to hours spent on the game, but they don't realize that hours spent don't mean hours dedicated to grinding maps. I doubt you wouldn't get an ex or at least an item worth few ex by farming maps for a week.

Do you run any IIR on your leveling gear? I never had any before this league, but using this from late 80's through 100:

gave me a huge increase in the total number of uniques I found, including a few high tier ones. 50 iir doesn't seem like much but when you grind enough to hit 100 that small change can accumulate into a big difference.

Not really running any iir in this league, when i have in the past i do get more uniques and rare's, but it never really seemed worth planning a build around it. Would like to try a low life build out next league though.

IIr is great, but if it comes at the expense of damage and clear speed im not sure i see the point. IF i go pure damage and run an extra map or two in the same time as my irr build, i feel i might just be better off with the xtra damage.

These gloves have no attack speed, and have a mod rolled life. Mine have T1 attack speed and top rolled health...

That is a big diff than yours.

That ring was the only iir I had on for the most part, and the other stats fit my RT melee build perfectly so it didn't affect my clear speed at all. If you only play to level 90 or so you probably won't notice that small amount of IIR, but when you take on the insane grind to 100 even that entry level IIR makes a difference.

Your probably right on the grind to 100, have zero patience for grinding that much lol. I still love this game, not like im going to stop playing it all together, just want that holy shit feeling everyone once in a while. Hustling for currency is great and all, just not the same as that windfall lottery feeling i think i would get from a massive drop.

What I am referring to is not that mine are better. Just that their price is not 5ex, even though people sell them for that on poe.trade and that I bought them for 1/100th of the price most people list it for. I'm saying that 38ex is way too dreamy here. It for sure can be sold for some ex, but you're over exaggerating everything when it comes to your drop. Be a bit humble, you'll get like 10ex off it.

Im kind of with tompos here tbh, Its been a good while since I put any effort into a league but back when I did I made the majority of money from selling rares.

At least once a week theres a multiexalt rare if ur giving the game a decent grind. The tactic is to pick them up, identify them and know what you are looking at basically. Clearspeed etc is nice but all 3 of these steps must be involved.

If you go the clearspeed, unid recipe route you can probably make same amount of money, but youre now limited to uniques when it comes to selling expensive items you found, so your lucky drops will seem non existent.



Im ridiculously casual now, I could barely put in any effort to make wealth over the last year or so of leagues. If you want things in this game then its about putting in the time and the effort, my time has sort of been there my effort hasnt. As long as theres people out there still putting in a lot of time and a lot of effort, backed up by a lot of knowledge, your drops and my drops are always going to seem a bit meh compared to the market unless we step up.

those gloves are absolutely insane. That price tag, if they were titain guants with those rolls they would be over 400 armour and I could see someone paying 30-40ex for em. I dont rly know the attack glove market atm in standard though, I wouldnt list them for less than 15 tbh, Id be fairly confident they would sell quickly if I dipped below that. Theyre essentially the best gloves youll ever find, you want to get top dollar for them even if it takes 2 months to sell them.

If I was buying them I wouldnt pay 15ex, Id go to a temp league and try to get something similar for like 20 chaos early or late.


I feel like the chest is a bit of a lost cause, rare evasion chests are probably the least useful chests in the game and a great chest starts with 3 great prefixes. If it wasnt for the 5L id vendor it personally if it was standard, in a league Id try and sell it.

are you really going to tell me that extra 20 resist is worth 15 exalted...

Also want to point out that if something takes you 2 months to sell, and you dont play standard, that thing might as well be worthless...
