How often do you get that lucky drop?

I've been playing POE since open beta. And the only item, the ONLY item I've gotten worth more than 1 exalt was a heretics veil. And I SOLD IT FOR 15 CHAOS!!! Because I didn't care for curse auras and didn't bother to know the value of it. This was just last month. :(

I got a 500es hubris with t1 lightning res, 220 accuracy and a free prefix in a league long ago, for 15ex. Ive price checked it on standard at various points over the last 2 years and it was usually been around 80-120 exalts for such a thing. If I wanted to sell it should I have sold it for 15ex because thats what I paid for it? Theres a difference between where/what you are smart enough to buy and what you are smart enough to sell. Buy low sell high, its not buy low then sell low. Dont presume everyone is shopping smart. Ive paid the full throttle price for hardly anything I have in standard, I found the smart way to get it cheap playing a long game over years of jumping between standard and temp leagues. You can be sure Im asking the full price when Im selling most of my quality leftovers in standard tho. Ill hold an item for a year until the meta changes and someones willing to pay 10 exalts for it rather than jumping on 10 chaos right away. Eh, most of my currency never came from lucky drops. Most of my currency in Prophecy was made from corrupting a +1 Arrow Drillneck on my first Vaal attempt, 6L 2 Reach of the Councils and then just playing the market, I must have made like ~40 Ex with little effort this league and a bit of RNG. I've had quite a few good drops, but most of them being 20-40c each, but they add up over time.

Ususaly i get 3 - 10 multi EX drops per ladder
Seems to be the same if it's a one mounth or a 3 mounth , lol IDK i seem to play the same amount of total time in each type so i supose it makes sence. I did do a MF character one time and that was like 100 easy , probley alot more TBH Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

" I don't play standard, so cant really speak to the prices of things, but it goes for 10 ex i would think that would be devalued currency of standard. Is every item multiple ex's? Makes no sense for that item to be that expensive,at least imo. Makes sense only if the price of everything is fairly crazy. If that were to be the case, its not like you are making 10 exs on that, you are just suffering from hyper inflation. I could be wrong, but i just dont see that selling for 10 ex. But hey, if someone feels that way, 5 ex and the gloves are yours lol |

These are some of the best items I've found. I do not find them often, once in a blue moon. It might help if I played with a party at all times but every time I do everyone is always running so far ahead that there is no time to stop and grab drops so I play solo or with 1-2 friends. Sound the dread alarm, through the primal body! Sound the reveille, to be or not to be. Rise! Stay the grand finale! Stay the reading of our swan song and epilogue. One drive to stay alive! " those gloves are never 10ex just saying, but they are a very decent item to play with. high value drops are ofc rare, very rare, and iam glad they are, otherwise crafting would be 100% pointless. Contact support@grindinggear.com to report issues relating to the game or forum. Thanks!

If you aren't getting valuable loot you probably just don't know what things are worth, rares that are valuable are a pretty common drop. If I map for like 6 hours a day after work it's not uncommon for me to find 2-3 rares a day worth 20c+.
I would suggest you run as much item rarity as you possibly can. This makes a huge difference as my character ran 400~ rarity and I got good drops all the time. Even just 100% rarity makes a serious difference. If I don't get good drops then I just do maps and pick up the rings and vendor them. I can make about 3 regals or chaos per map this way. Pick up 68+ rings for the first week and alch them. Jewelry is very expensive to buy and any spare jewelry you have you can sell to the vendor for chaos orbs. Start at lvl 68 rings and as you map start setting your minimum to 75 so you can vendor any bad jewelry for regals. If you do this the first two weeks I can almost promise you than you will triple your money at a minimum if you do it correctly. Try to research rare prices, if you aren't making any money off rares you probably just aren't pricing them right. Don't be ashamed or embarrassed to price your rares for what you want for them. If I really wanted to I am more than confident I could sit on poe.trade all day and buy peoples rares for 1-5c and then list them for 20c-1ex and make a ton of profit but I prefer to play the game. One last thing, never do any trade for less than 3 chaos. It's a huge waste of time. The first two weeks of this league I was making 2-10ex per day just mapping after work each day without valuable uniques dropping. Последняя редакция: WarmWaffles#7310. " Thanks for the advice, but you kinda missed my point bro. It's not about this 10 chaos drop or that 30 chaos drop. I'm talking about that moment when something worth 10ex drops and you have to get a new pair of pants. That's the moment i feel like i have been waiting for the entire time i have played this game. Ill add on this to what you said, if you aren't hustling jewels i think you are doing something wrong. Think i have easily made 500 chaos off of jewels, with i dont even think half of that in startup costs, whiles still having a ton of stock left. Considering i didnt start till half way through the league, and its only my 2nd league with jewels so market knowledge is low, those results feel rather phenomenal. |

If you want a 10ex item you need to be running a MF build or you need to look into crafting an item.
