volatile blood is too melee-discriminational
There have to be op mobs like volatiles every now and then. You couldn't consider poe an actual 'game' if there weren't almost any obstacles or counters besides some bosses.

" its sad just how long weve been pushing this issue and how they have done fuck all about it, just made it worse by adding more map mods that scale vol blood damage in high maps. Theyre fucking hopeless. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

I experienced recently similar situation in Cruel I was at 52 and other player Scion was at 46lvl but it is no mater I think , Scion was ranger, We take master quest to enter to corrupted den or some location to kill all beast. When We reach them , even I was surprised, They had chaos aura and looks danger Only I touch one suddenly all receive molten shell, when suddenly explode my party member suddenly die, and about what it means I don't die. Some poison, there was couple bigger bosses very hard maybe unique, I'm not sure, except chaos aura had strange other mods I never meet before I killed them all. " one of the chaos warband generals that can spawn in overgrown ruin, when you kill her she resurrects in a second form, who has detonate dead... rip. Basically you kill her and then she instantly explodes her own corpse and 1 shots you if you were in melee range, not even ci is going to save you its just instant death for any melee character. Like the man said, at this point it has to be trolling and they are intentionally saying "lol, fuck you, haha" to high level melee players. Theres no way the devs are stupid enough to think thats actually fair, theyre clever people who understand what theyre doing. Its not about being smart as a player, if the answer is "dont kill this monster in melee range" then its a complete disgrace, theres no excusing it in a game where melee is supposed to be a viable endgame option. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

VB needs a single balance fix - the detonation should be under the player that delivers the killing stroke, not under the mob's corpse.
With this it would be a high danger affix for all equally. |

Volatile monsters are something melee charachters have to watch out for just like proximity shield for ranged charachters. That's all there is to it.
