I actually like the leaguestones as an idea. I'm not very satisfied with the execution of that idea, but oh well.

I must say that i'm very unhappy with the challenges though... very.

You literally have to go no life mode to achieve above 30 challenges which reminds me of them asian pure grind mmos n shit... no ty.

Full time student, part time job, girlfriend, thesis, didn't play more than 2 hours the first 5-6 days...yet at 36 challenges, close on 2 more. Play smart not hard my friend.

When did I say made a "billion ex?" Perhaps you think you need a billion ex to get to 36, which probably explains why you think it's impossible to get over 30 challenges. Here are some tips.

Play one build. Don't switch 3x in the first week. Switching builds costs a lot and slows you down.

Don't pick insanely expensive builds (my build right now costs a total of about 25 ex, mostly due to 6L mantle, empower lvl 4, and tukohama's. Guess what? 25 ex is easily attainable in under 40 hours of play if you're smart about your money. Picking builds which use meta stuff is a sure way to make you shell out lots of cash. There are plenty of builds that can do all content that are even cheaper than this.

Sell challenges, and also buy shitty ones like your last talisman boss or invasion boss you just can't find. It's cheap and it saves you time; time where you could be making more money to do more stuff.

Don't sit in your hideout trying to trade. If you need to buy something but nobody is selling, try another time. Wasting time in hideout is a good way to not make progress.

Convert all currency you don't use into chaos or exalts. After I have all my stuff linked I sell my fuse daily, for example.

Ignore masters other than Zana once you have them lvl 7.

Do multiple challenges at once if you can, i.e. twinned and onslaught map bosses.

Once you have your atlas at like 80+ stop worrying so much about it, don't buy maps to fill it unless they're cheap. The maps will come eventually and you won't benefit all that much from 80+ atlas unless you're trying to sustain high tier red maps, which is unprofitable anyway.

Boom, you now have 30+ challenges easy, unless your build sucks and you can't do a couple of high tier maps with 8mods, in which case I don't know what to tell you.

Pretty disappointing, leaguestones that are not magic are too bland. They basically don't introduce anything extra into the game. A craft recipe to upgrade your white stones to magic would do so much good.

Also "You literally have to go no life mode to achieve above 30 challenges which reminds me of them asian pure grind mmos n shit... no ty.". That is false. I am at 29 and there are still like 2 months left, not a nolifer either. That is not pushing it, just completing ones that come along.

That's exagerated. I went often to 36 and even 40 it's largely possible in 3 months without playing much more than few hours a day.

I started the league one week ago because i had no time before with work and wasn't really motivated to play again the game, sitting with one 91, one 86 character, was at 11 challenges yesterday and jumped to 24 in few hours.

I expect 36 to be done before i go back to work at the end of next week in all cases we are far from what you are saying you don't need a big playtime, just using your time in the right way.

Pure grind mmos for some of them require to be online almost 16h a day to get 1/10 of an item it's hardly possible to compare with PoE.
Hf :)

Lol, she actually does have red hair, so...

The thing is that people don't realize just how much wealth they have if they go for broke and convert everything....and I mean everything. Regrets, Vaal, GCP, even alts if you have to. If you pick up every leather belt and chance and chrome and trade them you are gaining money faster than you might think, especially if you manage to squeeze in a few %rarity/quantity into your gear and run profitable stones like breach. With focused and efficient play you can definitely make 0.5-1.5 ex an hour speed running yellow maps, more if you're lucky (and even more if you flip, scam, or sell challenges...)
This league is probably the best flashback type league so far I think it's possibly just being overshadowed by how good breach league was. It's like with magic the gathering when they release a really awesome set of cards the next ones after that are always kinda just meh even if better then normal.
