Map sustain seems to be getting worse and worse?

I feel as if the map sustain for this league is the highest its ever been at.
Before you had to hope for a drop, trade for one or find a carto box in high level map. With the help of Cartography room in the Temple, its fairly easy to hit red maps and stay there without backtracking to tier 10's. Unlock as many maps as you can, use your sextants on areas you have maps for. Don't waste time on bad rooms in the Temple, so you can get to the next temple faster. The map drops in the temple are based on the ilvl of the temple. Edit: To clarify, don't waste time on rooms that don't give you anything. Vault, Storage, Carto, Corrupt(You can skip this one) and Apex are the important rooms. Use incursions to link useful rooms and get to the apex. I dunno all this `crowd` speaking its easiest league to sustain maps.
Look at the red maps prices! Obviously not! Suggest PoE is full of liers and scammers then. |

On my case when completing atlas maps, ive had to buy lots of maps already even i am on tier 5 yet. But on last league when i got full atlas, i didnt got problems sustaining maps after that.

FinYuna. If you mean last league as in Flashback... yeah.. BIG SURPRISE :P The density due to all the league modifiers were off the charts so you would get a lot more mobs there than this league. This league has 0 mods that affect map drops until you do your temple.
Now here is the trick. Do x amount of maps you have a lot of until you have 3 incursions left. Now move to high tier maps. Grab your 3 highest tier maps or buy some if you can. Finish incusions in those 3 maps. Temple should now be approximately the same itemlevel of the average of your 3 highest incursions. Full clear the temple and you should get a huge amount of maps, especially if you have the map room. Alternatively you can spam incursions and temple and reset until you get an upgraded map room before you use this tactic but for me it has been enough to do any temple for proper return. This should yield you so many high tier maps that you can either sell to buy maps you miss or you could farm those maps for additional map drops to progress. |

" I would not ever skip the corruption of either items or gems as well as the unique exchange room in any way. They can be a huge pay out if you know how to use them: That can buy you a lot of maps. Also if you check my character's gear you will see it's quite okay. Most of it is bought trough revenue from those 3 rooms. "Never argue with an idiot. Every league Im doing the same thing:
Atlas completion 115-125, then runing shaped T11 and T12. Because Im doing the same thing in EVERY league I can clearly say what league had more maps drop. Im using chisels, vaal, 3 sextants and sac frags on every map. The map drop in this league is WORSE than in bestiary. Incursions NEVER drop maps, only temples and map drops in normal maps seems to be ninja nerfed (probably because of temples). I need to fully clear every Temple to sustain my T11/T12 maps. Incursion is great, I like it a lot, but honestly Bestiary was making me so much currency that I could just buy T16 and run them all the time. |
