I levelled my spectre bank with RS. I recommend using them if you have a Tabula. RS and skitters was easy to level. Link the skitters to Minion damage + Burning + Swift Affliction. It's like levelling with righteous fire Everything dies quickly. I will add this to the levellinng guide actually.

I only levelled to 40, but I think you can go to maps with RS.

Simulacrum is really tough. One of the main problems for me is my FPS drops to less than 10fps in late waves. I think there are more spell effects. And then I die because I can't control my char. I hope this isn't a problem for PS4.

have u tried turning off all sounds effects? bad way to "fix" this problem but i heard that it works for some ppl

has anyone tested whats the best curse for RS?

I'm making an mid league update video for RS in EB & MoM. New clusters and new gems.

I now use 2x medium cluster:

Each cluster gives 46% increased effect of hatred. Two clusters and generosity is 132% increased effect of hatred, so elemental support geems are strongest now. Hatred buff is 100% up which is very different to renewal chance for DD.

So now RS does a lot more cold damage, so I also switch DM to PCOC.
Pierce works best because each projectile can hit 5 monsters. Each RS shoots 3 projectiles with LMP. Total is 15 hits for each RS. So there are lots of hits to proc power charges and then all the piercing hits can freeze.


Also, I found a way to test gems in PoB. If you choose 'archer statue' it uses ice shot. 50% phys converted to cold. So you can add 25% phys convert to cold on one item and it will be total 75% conversion like RS! The damage number is much less than RS, so just use this to test for RS. Don't compare DPS with other spectres.


Also, ice shot has aoe tag, but RS doesn't have aoe tag, so ignore aoe support gems.

Stone Golem is for hp regen actually. His job is to keep your necro alive.

Carrion Golem only gives 2% more damage because RS base damage is 1900.

Golems grant 27 to 41 additional Physical Damage for Non-Golem Minions

I think survivability is more important.

I suggest Frostbite because of extra freeze chance. Some tough monsters won't die quickly. It's better to try to freeze them, so they don't attack you.

But Projectile Weakness gives free pierce and quite defensive knockback!
