Whats going on in the helmet? It looks like in the video you may have isolated phase run in there instead of the shield now. What else is in the helmet. It's not clear from POB link.

The helmet should have Hatred + Generosity, Haste, Skitters.



I recommend using Watcher's Eye with phasing/haste and then you can drop Phase Run. You will lose the speed boos, though.

she use Frost Wall on damage taken. phasing is to go through wall then :)
additional ES and life from jewel.
thou i have the same setup, i don't think it's mandatory in any way.

to add on, phasing might help a little when we have 0 es left and cannot flame dash out of sticky situations.

I missed the frostwall since it's not in the guide or POB (spider build version that is).
Also the POB and forum post here are not identical, seems again like one is getting updates while the other don't.
Anyway this seems like like a very large tradeoff with very little gain.
The builds is using flame dash, phasing potion (only in pob, not on forum) and the watcher's eye jewel.
Seems better to just stick in an unending hunger or quickening covenant (minion movement speeds seems less important with spiders). Or alternatively just something that boosts your own life/ES.
And if you really want to get crazy, the watcher's eye jewel with the ES buff from clarity and stick a level 1 clarity somewhere.

Furthermore without this watcher's eye you can also link haste to (awakened( generosity, meaning a 41-51% increase in the haste buff (for minions)
Now the onslaught one may be interesting if it were to apply to minions as well, but to my understanding these buffs are for the player only.

So all in all I see a buff that improves QOL with a huge tradeoff which I think may not exactly be worth it.

It's something that we found during delve league. Flasks and skills have cooldowns, so there are times when you cannot phase. And getting body blocked was a quick way to die.

It is the same for mapping or bossing. All skills have a cast time or attack time. So if you are running in a map and a pack of monsters attack, you can run through them and they will hit the ground behind you. But if you get body blocked because flask has no charge or flame dash is cool down, then you will get stopped and all the monster skills will hit you.

If you have perma phasing, you will never get body blocked.

It seems like nothing until you try it, but you can always resell the watcher's eye!

Edit: frost wall + cwdt was also from delve league. I didn't include it in the original build for 3.10 because people didn't have phasing and got stuck in a death trap.

I didn't use it for a long time because I thought it wasn't useful! Another place you will really notice it is 500+ depth.

Although I may trade in my quartz flask for something else then, seems redundant with perma phasing.

I see you use VMS manually.
If now you "play more aggressively" using Flesh Offering, would it be better to respec Mistress of Sacrifice to Bone Barrier? Bone Barrier is way better than VMS and your only benefit from movement speed with flesh offering.

Bone Barrier is a good option. If you bind it to left mouse, then it will always cast and you can still move normally. Bone also frees up a flask mod because it removes bleeding. But, I like the speed boost from Flesh Offering (22% ms). Moving faster = avoiding monster hits and projectiles.

I'm not 100% sure about VMS. I know a lot of people use it and they love it, so I was trying it out. But usually I forget to use it.

My favour cwdt is frost wall, though. It will completely block mosnters from moving and block most projectiles.

Reduce Visibility is for monster attack range, but I usually stand close, so I don't feel a big loss.

I just haven't changed it :)

I think a Jade flask is the best option if you have blind aura on AG. Blind + Jade of reflex = 65% reduced chance to hit.
