For an inexperienced player, would it be easier to fight uber elder using tanky build + solar guards, rather than dps build + fire eaters?

Also, I have crafted this chest, looks good so far, prefixes are filled with ES+Life, +1 Spectres and crafted Life, what else should I add to it? I can't add +1 Curse, because it's a prefix. It has room for 2 more suffixes, and my resists are already maxed since I wore Vis Mortis before :D

Multiple Totems wont work for Minion Spells e.g. Tukohama Vanguards. If u really wanna try them u can go with GMP for a bit more Clearspeed but honestly 4 Tukohomas alone will slow u really down in Maps. I would put in at least 2 Solar Guards.

Played with them in Bestiary League and they where amazing for Bosses but if I remember correctly after Bestiary they received some changes and got bad? (dont know what exactly but double Dyadus for AG wasnt all)

I have lost spectres in the slam attack because fire-eaters stand at melee range, I think. It's hard to tell what's going on in the fight sometimes.

Best thing to do is drop storm brand away from the boss when it winds up for the slam.

I hadn't died until I hit this node. I usually play with the mod window minimized and don't pay attention to mods. Thought I died because of that so re-equipped a new AG and tried again. Same story. Couple 100c of gear gone :\ Then I checked the mods carefully. Azurite III + double damage + ele pen + shocking ground + nemesis.

I recommend going with the tankier build if you don't have experience with the fight. The DPS spec is very much a glass cannon and very unforgiving (which is why I moved it to the advanced section now).


Body armour looks fine. You don't really need the dual curse, tbh. I can't think of a useful suffix off the top of my head though.

GGG changed the cooldown on their totem placement, so it became impossible to get two totems per spectre when using Tukohama's Fortress. That's why when you see old summoner vids with something like 10 totems vs Shaper. That might have been before Bestiary, though, because I think I had already switched to FEs.

I'm pretty sure Fire-Eaters out-damage TVs now (as well as leave them in the dust with clear speed) but I'd be interested if anyone wanted to test them out. I know that you can acheive pretty fast clear speed and sub 2-min uber kills without changing gems/gear.

Thanks. I just learnt that the animate guardian would lose all gears if die (100c worth) and Idon't have minions gem craft on my helmet, do you think my AG would survive tho...

Can I also ask which gems would be best to upgrade first from 20 to 21?
