Hi Kayelle,

Have you ever considered using "The Sorrow of the Divine" flask? I started to use it from yesterday and it is super cool! I am now able to prevent myself from dying in almost every situation with The sorrow of the Divine + instant recovery life flask because it literally doubles the amount of recovery as it now also heals my ES too!

That's a great idea! I totally forgot about it, but the 3.7 update seems perfect for hybrid builds.

Life Recovery from Flasks to also apply to Energy Shield during Flask Effect.

Did you replace the Karui flask?

Yes, I replace the Karui

I think it is unrealistic to count to get watcher's eye with bot clarity + energy shield and perma phasing. Taking that into account what would you choose?

Perma phase / haste - preventing body blocking increases survivability and makes mapping & delving smoother.

In my opinion, perma haste + phasing which give:

- 4-9% (+10-13% vaal haste) movement speed
- 9-16% (+24-31% vaal haste) cast speed
- Phasing

Is a little expensive for 50% mana reservation. You already have +49% cast speed from faster casting support so more casting speed will give less dps.

What do you think about using discipline (for more defensive) and one of the aspect skills, such as:

- Aspect of the Avian: 10% movement speed + 10% chance double damage (~about 20% more dps)
- Aspect of the Crab: 20% phys damage reduction if not hit
- Aspect of the Spider: 15% more dps + hinder (30% reduce enemy movement speed)

With discipline, not only more ES but also some defensive option from watcher eye :

- +(5-8)% Chance to Block Spell Damage while affected by Discipline
- (20-30)% increased Energy Shield Recovery Rate while affected by Discipline
- (1.5-2.5)% of Maximum Energy Shield Regenerated per Second while affected by Discipline
- (30-40)% faster start of Energy Shield Recharge while affected by Discipline

Had an animated guardian with all the recommended fancy gear, he was so strong, farming t14-15s he never was even close to like 80%, always 95-100%. And then I go forge of the phoenix, open legion monolith and the [Removed by Support] just instagib my cool guardian. Now i have neither fortify, nor culling strike and feel naked and sad =(

I think a good alternative would be Discipline + Spider. More ES and Hinder + Temp Chains will really increase survivability. To go with that, since we take Wicked Ward, discipline eye with faster start of recharge would be the most beneficial.

However, the benefits of permanent phasing is something you really need to experience to understand - if you get body blocked by a monster, they generally have time to hit you, or worse, swarm you (in delve). With permanent phasing, you simply run through them and they can't hit you and can't swarm you. Even with a quartz flask, I found there was a split second (lag) delay which would result in death, especially in deep delve.

You are right, though, 50% mana reserve is too expensive, which is why I put in a diadem and take 10% reduced reserve from Sovereignty wheel. This brings it down to a manageable 35%.

Yeah, there are many sources of big hits that can kill the AG. It's especially vulnerable because it doesn't hit enough to leech life, so it relies on a high regen to stay alive.

Especially dangerous are the Kauri legion rares because they buff each other with things like extra phys, crit, etc. I've even had Enhanced Vaal spectres die to them (250k+ hp).

If it makes you feel any better, I don't actually use the expensive AG anymore either. I use the basic set up with a crafted -9% lightning res helmet.

New demo video!

After finishing the new levelling guide, I decided to try UE at 68 with Pledge of Hands. I bought a level 19 Raise Spectre for this, but most gems came from making the levelling guide, so were 16/0. Also, I hadn't done Uber Lab, yet. Quite a hard fight because the DPS is quite low and the eHP is only just enough not to get one-shot. The last phases were especially hard since there were degens and anomalies everywhere. And as usual, I forgot to use Vaal Haste.

thank you for your reply, I've experience perma phasing, since my delve lv is low, couldn't feel any different. I usually use flame dash for these situation since my flame dash has only 1.5s cooldown.

One more thing, in my opinion, you could use Aul (wrath version) instead of Solstice Amu, since we rarely be able to trigger Shaper's Presence by ourselves so Aul give more ES and a little critical chance (and more ex too :)))

I totally forgot one other thing! I use Frost Wall + CWDT for defense. It's essentially a 100% block (unless the monster has pierce). It can quickly become a death trap without some kind of phasing, though.

Wrath Aul's is certainly an option if you have the currency to buy it as they're usually in the 10ex+ range. I put Shaper's Presence in because it's quite affordable at 50-60c and the supply is quite plentiful from all the Shaper/Celestial HO farming.

Concerning phasing discussion I also use frost wall and I feel phasing is a must with it. It just works wonders when u can phase through it and save urself from nasty legion rares.

About AG, well it's a petty we no longer have Haku's enchant available. Fortify and culling strike is super useful.
