I only use Brand for boss fights. If you look carefully at my videos, I Flame Dash into monsters to proc EE.

I also manual cast the offering until I can get trigger.

My recommended spectres section has the gems you need to swap out. The gem swaps are more complicated for Pledge build, but I plan to add those later.

All the spectres in my guide are viable, but I only use two spectres: Slave Driver and Goatman Fire Raiser. SD are best at bossing and OK at mapping (short range, high DPS, pierce) and GFR are the best at mapping and good at bossing (long range, good DPS, pierce).

*Solar Guards have been popular because most players just blindly follow streamers or reddit. Goatmen are much better.

Your build looks fine.

If you want to get more survivability, you could drop Enduring Bond and finish Scion life. That will get you close to 6k life.

Belt craft is fine.

I don't recommend timeless jewels because you need to sacrifice a lot of passive points for them!

Patch notes are coming soon. I think the build will be fine. I plan to upload a short video review of spectre and summoner changes. Then I will update the guide.

This is my POB, i tried to get the same gear as you, but my DPS is half. What could I improve moving forward?

I can't open your PoB pastebin. But, don't worry about PoB numbers so much. How does the build feel when you play? If you can stay close to the build guide, you should have a lot of DPS.

Thank you Kay for the amazing, in-depth guide. I've been following it for a few leagues and in 3.9 I will play spectres again. Your love for the build is clearly showing and carefully planned and thought out choices are also visible in the build.

Also, I'm glad Bone Offering is back! I remember it pre-nerf, it was totally bonkers and OP, but I think it is alright even now.

- will your leveling guide be good after this zombie nerf?

- since now we need 25 lvl gem for extra spectre. So what will be the easiest way to obtain it?

Levelling guide was written in 3.5 or 3.6, so it should still be OK. I'll change the pathing to add more survivability to the minions.

The level 25 gem requirement is basically taking Spectres back to pre-3.8: everyone needed the legacy Vis or delve chest to get 4 spectres (before we could get up to 6).

Having 1 less spectre isn't good, but you can still clear the content with 3 spectres...

Does anyone know if patch notes will more than likely be tomorrow?(Tuesday in the USA). Only asking because if they aren't coming out until Wednesday I don't want to keep checking the forum every hour tomorrow lol...
