POE - The only ARPG with no loot: this needs to change
" Not really since it would mainly benefit the gotta-go-fast credit farmers... aka they would be even more "efficient" at it.. And no, we don't need that. |

One week into any league, I stop identifying rares altogether, doing 2c recipes instead. That is just a symptom I think, the reason for that is that I can buy "almost BiS" items per 50c for every slot, thus BYPASSING RNG to a large extend. This part is very important. Doing unid rare recipe seems to be the most effective way to acquire gear. Of course, until everyone switches to that mindset (and I hope I did not contribute, I really love you for identifying, cataloging and monetizing those sweet rares for me).
Every time I see "we cannot have AH because you could get items too easily", I cry. We already have that. Every time I need "Lighthouse" map to spread Elder there and fifteen people in a row do not respond, I cry again. Defeated by their developer manifesto. All these things are interconnected and leads to the grand design of this game. I trade, therefore I am. SSF does not comfort me, however. I want to melt them bosses. And the best way to get there is to trade. |

" wow, that's good news, let's group up ...say .. to manipulate wasteland maps. i give you some 100k chaos and you buy off all maps available until a certain threshold price and i offer them slightly above the threshold. we will be rich asap, you definitely got the easier part cause buying stuff is so effective already :-) but that's the likely scenario ggg is afraid of when they speak of an effective market being dangerous to the ingame economy. offline

" I hear you. What I was trying to say was : for various reasons, 95% of the game shrinked to "buy specific map, roll it, run it, repeat". Getting (~buying) gear to be able to do that mechanically takes the first week, two at most. I feel, and in all humility, I agree that feelings can betray you easily - but still, I feel the game should be less about buying specific maps. As of now, that is the pivotal theme of my endgame. |

Taking items out of the equation. This game could greatly benefit from map and currency exchange vendors. The most common complaint I see about trade is that people can't get others to respond to map trades and likewise it is hard to exchange currency.
I've accepted that this game will never have an AH. But I'm baffled why people are so opposed to streamlining some of the fundamental elements of the game. |

" if no one was poor , then no one would buy the under 10c gear- which is the majority of what people sell to move into end game gear. I would be happy if they simply tailored prefix/suffix to have a greater chance of rolling for the same build, while adding 2-3 more tiers to keep the variance. I get more annoyed when i roll something with spell damage and added physical damage. or when a non es piece rolls es stats , and vice versa. Even though i make a decent amount off selling maps, i would love for bosses to have a much higher chance of dropping relavent (+/- 2) tier map(s) , so i can get back to playing the game and not looking to trade. |

" ggg still sees trading as an important part of the game and the atlas kind of enforces it if you want to complete it asap. that's not going to change. but they could ease the map pressure by changing the itemlevel of dropped items in maps: there could be a chance to have a item with a higher itemlevel up to the itemlevel of that area. offline

" I see your point, but it's kinda... weird. If GGG wanted to really reign speed meta clears, they'd do that by nerfing the power level of some builds or buffing monsters. Overtuned micro management hurts everybody through bad gaming experience, not just speed farmers. Besides, why would you ever want to deliberately hurt players' gaming experience. In the end one must ask himself, whether he likes picking all that stuff manually up, every time. Even if you do, I feel clicking individual objects in PoE is somehow too clunky compared for example to Diablo III. Maybe it's just me. Последняя редакция: vmt80#6169. " Some kind of upper limit like this has been needed for so long it's crazy. If it's a high tier item it should trend towards higher tier rolls. So frustrating to get "1 life gained on kill" on a lvl 100 ring. Of course, there are balance issues with that as well but the full random selection from the entire list of possible affixes/enchants/etc. is just stupid. But, GGG is all about luck being king these days so it's the game they want us to play. And we do play it, don't we? POE Serenity Prayer: GGG, grant me the serenity to accept the RNG I cannot change,
the courage to challenge any unbalanced content, and the wisdom to avoid the forums. Mad: "Oh, it's simple and if you insist... I just think you're a dick. That's all." QFT: 4TRY4C&4NO |
