New minion notable nodes are like a joke
I am sure we will see changes to scourge claw in the coming future.
I think the nodes were a good change, because they promote build varity within the necro world. Allso, the main issue with scourge claw was the fact that you had to use scourge claw. it was not really good as a weapon in itself. |

Not op at all, on my lv98 I give up 800-900hp amongst other things to pick em.

Do you guys know why i compare this node to Vaal Pact ?
1/ Double benefit : - New nodes :your minion are strong and you are too. - Old Vaal Pact : you hit stronger, you live longer ( ofc if you not die in 1 hit ). 2/ Build diversity by a bad way: - You get the global damage from your minion mean you can build anything around those minion node, no matter how stupid your character is, your minion will still beat the enemies for you - Old Vaal Pact : make most hitting builds ignore how far they initialize class are and to travel to it. " First, not many node give you elemental damage. Second, minions are along side with you, hitting at a time with you, and can be great meatshields. And this is not about the damage only, attack speed you gained from your minion make a big different from the example you said. |

This is all part of GGG's master plan to take power creep to "infinity and beyond". The devs original plans to create "the arpg we would most want to play" was scrapped years ago in favor of making more money by following the twitch shooter racer money trail. It seems to have worked as they

What a BS. Minions are the only indirect damage mechanics that is NOT shared with players. Do you play totems? You have all stats both for you and totems. Do you play traps? You have all stats both for you and for traps. Do you play minions? Use rare endgame unique to get what everyone else has for free. Now minions have an option to spend more skill points instead and still have only a fraction of other indirect damagers have. Those nods are a joke, sure, but only because their effect should be enabled by default.

The nodes are actually really well balanced. You should look at it this way:
If you are making a build and grab Spiritual Command, Sacrifice, Redemption, Spiritual Aid, and Righteous Army in the most efficient way, then you spend something on the order of 13-14 passive points and get this: 88%/112% increased damage 12%/20% increased attack and cast speed (one high, one low) 30% increased accuracy rating 1.5% life regenerated per second You can competently use Minion skills without sacrificing your left testicle. It's not a generically amazing investment, but it's definitely solid for people with certain builds in mind and not at all "Regret." |
