I don't get why having too much attack speed is a loss in DPS?
If i have more attack per second it'll be useless since there is a limit of cast per second, but it's not losing DPS; or there is something i don't know?

DPS Calculation vs Shaper:
Without Flask
Main Ice Nova: Ice Nova Damage (293.601) x 2 (Frostbolt interaction) x 7,4 (Hits per sec) x 0,78 (Crit Chance) = 3.382.392 DPS
Cospri Ice Nova: [ Ice Nova Damage (75.604) x 2 (Frostbolt interaction) x 7,4 x 0,78 ] / 2 (Cospri procs alternate between Frostbolt and Ice Nova) = 436,201 DPS
Cospri Frostbolt: [ Frostbolt Damage (99.500) x 7,4 x 0,78 ] / 2 (Cospri procs Alternate) = 287.000 DPS
Cyclone: 14.425 x 7.4 = 106.745 DPS
DPS: 4.232.338
With Flask
Main Ice Nova: Ice Nova Damage (410.355) x 2 (Frostbolt interaction) x 7,4 (Hits per sec) x 0,97 (Crit Chance) = 5.891.056 DPS
Cospri Ice Nova: [ Ice Nova Damage (122.724) x 2 (Frostbolt interaction) x 7,4 x 0,97 ] / 2 (Cospri procs alternate between Frostbolt and Ice Nova) = 875.716 DPS

That's erroneous for people using a weapon offhand like you.
Cyclone will cycle between your Main Hand and Off Hand weapon... Meaning that you get only half of the Frostbolt Procs, and half of the Ice Nova procs from your Cospris.
The rate from your chest is unchanged.
While it is nice to have a Stat Stick like you, I am uncertain about the whole only triggering 1.5 times the amount of ice novas you could (remember that Ice Nova is cast on the Frostbolt, (half the frostbolt * 2 (thanks to Frozen Trail jewel)), instead of 2.5 times is a huge loss of DPS.

Could you clarify why you changed the multiplier on his main 6L ice nova calculation from 2 to 1.5? When using a crafted sword offhand, shouldn't the only change be that the cospri socketed skill procs are cut in half?

The Ice Nova that procs from your chest, also procs on the Frostbolt cast by the Cospri's.
Half the Frostbolt procs and amounts available reduces the amount of Ice Nova that is spawned by both your Cospri and your Chest Piece accordingly.
The most insane thing about that built has always been the amount of Ice Nova cast per seconds, greatly supported by casting 3 Frostbolt every two hits.
I looked into a pure Stat Stick, like the ones worth 20+ Exalts with Multi Mod and 35% Implicit Crit Multiplier and I was adding 107K Average damage on my Ice Nova. BUT halving my procs of ice nova and frost bolts... not a very interesting deal.
So I have experimented and built this insane Shield instead of Lycosidae.
I still get +37K Average Damage on my Ice Nova when compared to a Lycosidae (and it'S about 3 times what a second Cospri would give me) while retaining all the procs of ice novas and frostbolts.
It feels insanely good!

I tried both (shield/ off hand) and yes, the procs are better with the shield but my overall ST and even multi DPS and clear speed are far better with the sword off hand.

The Stat Stick I tested in my reply above is about similar to this give or take 1 or 2K average damage :)
I'll stand my ground that having 335K Average Damage with 100% procs vs 405K with 50% procs is much better haha

Those numbers look a bit low for your Average Hits ... do you have everything checked that you should? Ex. Enemy is Chilled / Flasks are Active?

Remember that a "Shock Enemies for 4 Seconds when Focusing" ring apply a shock of about 20% while PoB's checkbox applies a 50%.
I think it should be included as an extra DPS calculation over a base damage.

Thanks for confirming that it is 20% ... I've been trying to dig up what the percentage was to confirm. When I get the chance and have access to PoB, I'll update the numbers and add the above calc.
