I'm really enjoying the build. Clear speed is amazing but I feel like bosses take ages to kill. Can anyone look at my profile and suggest some improvements? I guess I have to get a better wand but what else can I improve? Character is "LilianaDarkmore"

Wanted to say big THANK YOU!!! for the guide. I just killed Kitava in SSF Harvest HC for the first time in HC, following almost 1:1 your guide and I must say it was quite easy all the way since level 1. All the content so far was like a breeze. Even the boss fights were very easy, most of it also pretty quick. I simply ran around and just fired 1 essence + 1-2 soulrend and they dropped :) My gear is nothing special - simple drops and a few crafts in the Grove, but nothing special. Tried to change my wand since almost the beginning, but couldn't find anything more useful than the 19% Chaos Damage Multiplier so still using the same Wand Item Level 15 :) Even 100%+ increased spell damage are much weaker then this one. Can't wait to craft me a better one ;) Rarity: Rare Damnation Spire Driftwood Wand -------- Item Level: 15 -------- 12% increased Spell Damage (implicit) -------- 29% increased Spell Damage +19% to Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier 12% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells +130 to Accuracy Rating 11% increased Damage over Time (crafted) By the way I'm running with the Doedre's Tenure that give me 60% Spell damage and still feeling quite comfortable, although should soon find a replacement for better defence: life, ES. Currently level 73 with 3.3k life + 1.4k ES. Bane tooltip is almost ~20k dps, soulrend ~30k dps and essence ~45k :P It feels so good after so many tries to finish the content in HC. This is a great build for both SSF and Hardcore! Just wanted to share in case someone has doubts. Thanks again !!! | |
" Sadly bossess with their curse resists are a mess. if you want to go wands i'd go for dual +1 to chaos skill gems one with chaos damage over time and spell damage. That said you can clear almost all content including sirus, catarina and uber elder (killed him a few days ago, lengthy but doable). The only thing that i wouldn't approach without help is uber atziri due to curse reflect. Normal one you can do but it will be long. |

I ended up using an essence drain/bane occultist as my league start for 3.11. I followed this build for the initial leveling and the early stages of mapping, but I quickly found myself wanting to branch out to something a bit stronger. I ended up taking the best parts of your Vixen's setup and combining it with the typical low-life ED/Bane setup. After some tweaking I've found myself in a very comfortable place! The build performs very well and it has plenty of room to keep growing!

Hi. I followed this guide to the best of my ability, and have reached (and completed 1) T16 maps. T really enjoy the playstyle, but I have noticed that I appear to be a bit squishy, especially on the bossfights that take more time. I really like this build too. I find it very easy to use, since all the way to red maps it's just one click, Bane, and it nukes everything.
I struggle a bit to push the build; I feel like the DPS could be improved for sure but the biggest problem is survival. It's quite squishy and sometimes I take large hit. Around 5.3k life and 2.5k ES; with maxed res. | |

Man thank you so much for this build...It is amazing and the fact that its 1-2 buttons and i dont have to worry about pianoing flasks or skills..i love it..Best SSF build i have ever done! THANKS AGAIN

" Apologies on the late reply-- I imagine with Harvest ending soon you no longer need the information, but I'll answer anyway if people want to try out something like this in 3.12+. I cleared the entire game with this build. It has more than enough damage to breeze through all the end-game bosses (Multiple Uber Elder kills, 50+ Sirus kills, and a few Cortex kills). Mapping isn't quite as nice as a contagion build or a Carcass Jack Bane, but it does well enough. Certainly would not recommend this if you're looking for a hyper-zoom-zoom mapper. As far as survivability, it's more than sufficient for Softcore play. I took this build to level 96 over ~5 weeks in 3.11. It could easily handle farming 100% Delirious T9/T10 maps, and I finished the majority of my Simulacrum challenge with this character. 100% Delirious T19 maps were out of reach though, even with a Headhunter. The build just doesn't quite have the defenses necessary to farm up a few Rare packs. Unless you're looking to push ridiculously rippy content like 100% T19s though, there's nothing in the game I struggled with. You'll RIP to nonsense occasionally, but it certainly holds its own. I'd post an updated POB, but I've unfortunately already Krangled all my gear for this league, so instead I'll just note the biggest update to the build from what is shown in the video: Cluster jewels really sky-rocket the damage. I specifically ran two large clusters like the following:
