Re: chest discussion - the offerings effect is a defensive buff. What I'm thinking about is +1 curse + enfeeble/temp chains would grant way more safety than +9/+9% block. Right?

The only problem is you need it on gloves or you lose another socket..

Oh defensively? probably similar to enfeeble.

If you're using Martyr, you're going to be pretty close to capped attack block (I'm at 74%) but if you're on a rare staff you won't be.

But let's look at spell block. I have 50% right now. As of right now I mitigate 50% of incoming spell hits.

If I have an additional 9% Spell Block, I will be mitigating an additional 9/50 spells. Effectively taking 18% less damage from spell hits than before.

It's also the difference of 483 life gained on block and 644 life gained on block.

And honestly, you could get all 3 mods on one chest. They are all Hunter mods after all. You could also try Awakening with Spell Crit (Shaper) and Extra Curse (Hunter) and hope to roll Offering Effect in the process.

I can play with pure life,no es with Kaom's heart + Martyr of Innocence
Highborn Staff ?
You need the chest for the sockets. But playing as pure life works ok too!

The build more or less, is pure life as far as the tree is concerned. Just getting 30% of max life as extra max ES from chest slot and Glorious Vanity.

Kaom's would be great if we weren't starved for sockets. You can do it, but you're giving up 6 sockets of CWDT spells.

Edit: Also all that armour from the chest will screw with Scold's self damage. Don't do it.

Regarding the chest, I use

right now, and could easily farm simulacrum before nerf with this :) The es on kill effect is really nice for mapping and simulacrum.

Yes! That's why I think getting a Cinderswallow should be high priority for mapping in general. Mine has 3% Life and ES on kill. Works like a charm.

Also, New Video:

T16 Enslaver with No Regen and Extra Damage
Nice video mate!

Cinderswallow is really good, did use it before the chest as well. Now I just don't need it anymore with ES on hit Watcher's Eye. Just have to press life flask from time to time, because I opted to not use Kitava notable due to more damage :D

Maybe I will drop wise oak fpr cinderswallow with crit enchant.

What would you suggesting to drop?

Cinder is still a good DPS flask.

You probably don't need the mana flask. I just keep it around for no regen maps mainly.
How are you all getting all of this multi-exalt costing stuff so fast? I just looked up the Watcher's Eye with +ES on hit while affected by Discipline. Those are like 16 Exalts for just that modifier. Must me so much more to get a second useful one.

Lord I have managed like 7 Exalts so far myself and I found 4 of them myself.
I have read like the last 7 pages but couldn't find anything about it:

What are the pro's/con's of cwdt compared to spellsinger?
