[3.10] Gryph's Volatile Dead Necromancer || Fun, Medium Budget, Tanky, Millions of DPS

Got myself a 6L shapes staff base and started first crafting attempts on it. Nothing good yet. But doesnt it take a freakishly good CWC staff to beat Martyr in damage even when considering the extra link?
Is arcane capacitor also a good choice for anointment or just getting on the passive tree?

What combination of mods mods are the most useful on this type of ring.
Mana reservation over %dmg?
keep or sell?

Another question:

i think the only reason i die sometimes is when i get slowed while cycloning. what is the best way to counter that?

does the %damage as mana over time mods rly help with mana sustain? doesnt the effect stop when mana is full? looking for an alternative to the mana pot cause of awakener fight (add starved).

how do you avoid freeze? i dont see a source on your gear/flasks.

Hi, thanks for this build, it has been really fun so far.

Could you comment on why you are using the lvl 21 offerings (needing a specific lvl 21 CWDT) instead of just having them in a lvl 1 CWDT setup like spirit offering?

Freakishly good? maybe not...

Okay so a 7L staff will out DPS a Martyr by a little. Like, CWC+Spell Crit+Added Fire to spells and multimodded. Good but not perfect. You get one with +2-3 Fire Spell Gems and the gap widens some more. Make one with Aetheric Fossils for 20% more damage to socketed spells...also widens. Admittedly, it is much harder to outperform Martyr

ESPECIALLY before you get VD leveled all the way.

Also I would go for an Elder PCoC Staff so you can use Awakened CWC support. ^^

Mana Reserve and Buff Effect, followed by the fire damage are best. That's a really big DPS boost if you want to use it now.

I am using my AG equipped with Garb of the Ephemeral to counter slows and freezes.

If you get enough damage taken gained as mana it will work as it persists even when you're full mana. Similar to regen.

I've had someone else ask me about this. I have not specifically noticed it (though I don't pay much attention to the balls going everywhere). If it's happening to me it's not making a big enough difference to matter I guess.

I don't want to spam Bone and Flesh like I do with Spirit Offering. I want their buffs to be maxed out. I proc them often enough to have the duration up 100% of the time that I'm cycloning so this works nicely. Also, I wouldn't be able to sustain corpses if they were all going off 4 times a second haha.


I found this enchant when running my Uber lab. Is there any way to work this into the build? I have the Charging Offensive anointment on my amulet, so presumably I'd want to put discharge with a high level CwDT to take advantage of all the charges, and do some extra damage?

What do you think this helmet with enchantment is worth?

I don't know if that enchant is worth anything, but you make me want to put discharge into my lvl 21 CWDT setup for the kicks. Lol

I've been thinking about trying some form of this build in SSF. Do you think it is viable in the endgame?
