Same, still some damage. But dot multiplier is so huge :(

Its a 5% nerf, but still a multiplier. So possibly stacking cold damage might better than stacking DOT Multi.

It could be a good change though as more multiplier might scale better

Indeed I didn't see that immediately. I guess they noticed it was strong vs bosses, but lacked in clear.

I'm a bit bummed too now :(

edit: wait! it changes from +20% to cdot to 15% more multi to cold dmg.

Yea at first I didn't notice it had the more.

I did the math*:

old (+20% to cdot): + 7.84% dps
new (15% more dmg): +14.99% dps

cold so hot right now!

It's a huge buff actually. I just modified a Watcher's Eye in POB to have 15% more Cold Damage instead of +22% DOT Multi and it added 2.4million damage using the Increased aura affect jewels. HAHA Noice!!


EDIT: You can now choose between either Profane Bloom or Malediction. I think Malediction, Vile Bastion, Void beacon, Frigid Wake will be what I will choose to go with. While I love the explosions from Profane Bloom +1 to curses with 10% increased dmg is too good to pass up. I am also big fan of using a good Double Influenced crafted Rare Amulet and Vile Bastion instead of Chayula's for Stun immunity.
