You are correct as always, that is the best spot BY FAR!
The reason I pick Melding is it is 2 skill points and with a 5% EfW it is 20% ES with the nodes we already took.
I also grabbed the 27% damage over time by the assassin since you were so nice to path right by it! 2 skill points. 37% damage over time and 5% effect.

EVEN WITH the "MEGA" nerf to occultist, I was at 11,500 in Synthesis, I am at 10.500 now! LOL!!!!
She's a beast. amd I know you hate advertising uniques because you love to show how easy it is on no budget, look at this: (It's 3ex if you hit a small jackpot)

I spend half the map covered in bleed stacks! LOL

Edit, I changed the 25% to 20% because that is what EfW does there 15+5 on the gem.
I also went nuts and respec'd a lot of that shield at the bottom, got ANOTHER EfW and took the one by instability. 28% increased mana, +5 all res and +300ES.
I'll roll with it, I will take more ES nodes IF I level(I'm 95). So 43% vs 36% kinda meh but I'll roll with it. Does not change functionality of build at all.
In summary, if you level 2 points over Wreckers tree and want to add some real ES, grab the 2 points to get the jewel by Melding, put EfW in there, and enjoy up to 21% more ES without changing a thing.

Also confirmed triple curse on a boss in a T15.
And I put Vortex on left click and checked always attack without moving.
Picking up stuff kinda sux, you basically have to double click, but vortex is firing as fast as it can AND you can still flame dash!

I dropped a life node to test your theory, yes, we knew they would have to be allocated :)
POB says 171kDPS shaper, boss fights have been taking forever, and usually I finally make a mistake after 2 min and 5000 adds to the fight and die. But pack clearing and delve are a breeze. I know it's hard but I try and find opportunities to get hit because the CWDT rewards are insane! A little spider comes and bites you in the leg and his entire family tree profane blooms! POOF! LOL, I'm havin fun man! That's all that matters :)

Any idea why adding assasin mark curse would actually drop DPS? Also vortex critical chance drops with assasin Mark equiped in path of building calculation.
