[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!
" I am planning on league starting the guardian version, but with minor changes. 1. Follow the level 91 tree, but drop the crit nodes and get EO instead. 2. use ele focus instead of crit damage in incinerate links 3. rares until I can get the uniques I made pathing to EO a priority in 3.16 for the dps increase, but with the buff we are getting this league it might not be that important. Cerberus Limb will be first unique purchase since it's cheap and Aegis shield second for the huge defense boost. Once I have the currency to also buy Leadership's Price and Viridi's Veil I'll switch to the crit version and buy the rest as I go. Plan for me is to switch around day 7. If you are a fast leveler you might want to leave this for your second build as Andy suggested since some of these uniques only drop from high level content and won't be available or will be but really expensive the first week. | |

I league started with this in 3.16 as elementalist and it was fine, but I'm a slow leveler. I plan my builds with unique prices 1 week into the league, so I actually count on unique prices dropping as a player.

" Don't be, paid waaaaaay too much for this lol (80ex) It did allow me to do some respeccing and changing some stuff up though. This is my current version: https://pastebin.com/Hmjfmk1D Basically I dropped Discipline now (as many of you already did) in favour of adding Herald of Ash (again, you guys did it already) + Aspect of the Spider (as craft on my gloves). I also dropped the double curse again and went back to Inexorable on the boots. These changes both give me higher dmg then before (around 7.2mil Shaper dps on the Elementalist non-crit version) and I have over 50k armour with Molten Shell up, meaning I get the full advantage of it's effects (10k Shell). If I were to level up, I would take the Armour mastery for 600 armour when a Guard skill is up. | |
" oh that is so awesome! Congrats on the Skin of the Lords. 80ex!!! lol :) With out making any changes, you should come close to 11m dps once the Incinerate numbers change on Friday! Don't forget to change the title to reflect the stronger DPS numbers for 3.17!! :) |

I've been blowing thru my currency today on divine orbs trying to get the right rolls on another circle of anguish I had.
Need to hit +20 strength to get matching strength/intel and 21% fire res to have all 3 balanced again for wise oak. Will let me break 16mil on my level 100 Inquisitor. https://pastebin.com/547XXxxx Edit: for anyone that sees this I do NOT recommend this. You do lose es when not actively channeling. " that is beautiful! Those DPS numbers are going to skyrocket for 3.17 because you are really going to benefit from the added damage effectiveness improvement because you are using Anger. By the way, what did you drop to fit in Anger? |

" for aura's I only dropped defiance banner. Made it work by grabbing Charisma and Champion of the Cause for anoints. Not worried about the lower max fire res on this character since he's already level 100. Just curious to try and find out what the max dps we can get out of this build is. If I had another 80ex laying around like Clay so I could refund points going to Pain Attunement and put those into dps nodes as well.... |
