Is there a recommended spectre to grab before you get access to flayers and lithomancers? I love this build but it always takes a while to delve down for the chonky boys and I'm too stubborn to ask people to get me the spectres.

Another brain dump.
1. Aspect of the Crab + Aspect of the Spider. Given that the main source of damage that kills us (apart from chaos unfortunately) is physical, aspect of the crab might be a good option to tank those big initial hits until immortal call + our ridiculous recovery can come online. Since the aspects are not huge reservation either, we can still fit in aspect of the spider for that juicy 15% increased damage taken by whichever boss lives long enough to see it. (Notably requires both reservation efficiency nodes from the thread of hope). 2. Elixir of Unbroken Circle Testing it as an option for automated endurance charge generation and burst damage recovery (instead of a life flask). On the assumption that we survive the first hit (with aspect of the crab plus our other layers we may), in a burst scenario one often does not have the reaction time to even use an instant life flask. Having the elixir use when a savage hit is taken means that we get instant ward (and in the circumstance where we already have endurance charges, which is often), we also get instant life recovery. After that, we take reduced physical damage from the endurance charges, prepping for another use of the flask as well. Since the recovery from this build is so high, life flasks are almost not needed, so this pseudo option can help in dealing with burst (especially in extended fights like in scourge / blight etc.). Probably would swap it out for a life flask in a boss battle, or pre-use the flask for endurance charges. Paired with aspect of the crab from above and immortal call, we should be able to take quite a lot of physical damage, both from large single hits and shotgun. 3. Replica Conqueror's Efficiency We are really, really starved on affixes in our ring slots, so fitting in the non-channeling skill craft on both of the rings can be an issue. Pathing to the jewel slot on the bottom right of our tree (2 points) for a replica conqueror's efficiency can help with fitting in attributes + curse effect reduction + life on spell hit in our rings, and only adds 10 int for leadership's price balance. It's better than the ring craft by 2 mana reduction as well, if that's anything. Additionally (although I haven't tested this), if you fit the craft onto both rings + this jewel, you may be able to drop other sources of mana / mana reduction (maybe even freeing up a flask slot). Furthermore, this may help fit in an unset ring (may need to self-craft), as with the animate guardian variant (1-2 extra gems), gem pressure is incredibly high (currently forced to a 5-link cyclone setup without unset ring). 4. Animate Guardian Will be able to experiment soon, my divergent animate guardian is almost 20/20, so can report on survivability (without the grave intentions cluster, risky I know). This animate guardian would be equipped with kingmaker for 10% damage reduction (through fortify) (no longer 20% sadge), culling strike, crit multi + ephemeral garb for no nearby enemy crits (huge in boss fights + scourge swarms) and no action speed reduction below base (huge in delirium with the hands + maven slows (I think)) + mask of the stitched demon, southbound and either resist / life boots or victario's flight. Well, I ran out of patience and swapped from Arma Brand to the "starter build" at 75 instead of 85 and can I just say, this build is amazing. It's everything I've ever wanted, even if I'm a little suboptimal on points right now.
It's definitely an adjustment to get used to keeping two different arca brands up right now and I've definitely made the mistake of putting two desecrates up on a boss, but a learning curve was always expected. I can't wait to get into some serious farming and move from the beginners build to the crit build. It's an absolute blast to play and even if I don't play it optimally yet, it's the most fun I've had in several leagues. I cackle with joy everytime 100's of VD's spawn :) Thanks for the build and I hope to learn it well enough to join in the theorycrafting someday! Последняя редакция: Forcepath#0712. This is build is awesome! First time doing a brand build and haven't had this much fun with a new build figuring everything out. I may be missing something as I'm new to brand builds, but what is the point of brand recall? Since our arcanist brands fall off pretty fast and we end up casting the arcanist brands again anyway. Also, what is your typical rotation of skills when your mapping? I have been casting the two arcanist brands then cycloning when I get to rare or map bosses.
Also, I am having a little difficulty with staying alive. I know I transitioned a few levels early and I still don't have the life on hit rings but am I missing anything else to improve my tankiness? Or is it just my playstyle? Thanks again for this build! |

" Grats on the chest. I decided to copy you and went for one as well, but I'm not sure what the purpose of the Discipline is there? I put an Arcane Surge for the time being :P Also, if you have a moment, would you be able to go thru my char just to see if I am missing anything important? (I have yet to setup a final few gems like CWDT/IC) but I noticed that I hit a bit of a wall in red maps as far as my survivability goes. I have around 7 more exalt I can throw at this build so if you see any obvious upgrades please let me know! |

" It doesn't matter whether Discipline is linked or not, since it's not affected by any of the supports. Prim probably got a six-link because if you're going to create a very expensive chest, you might as well start with a six-linked one anyway in case you decide to sell it down the road or use it for another build :) |
