The pob is meant to accompany you while you play. The guide it self gives a more indepth explanation of used mechanics, items etc.

Both are up to date though.

Note: the guide is made around the trans gem, if you wanna use the normal one, check the second linked pob. (Though they only differ marginally)

Yes, you should be able to swap relatively easy. The trees have the nearly the same base layout and alot of the gear can be used in both variants.

The build is definitely viable to be played into red maps and do the regular endgame bosses.


If a contentcreator rates a build you should generally assume they are talking about the geared "finished" build.
I've started the poison srs variant this league and played popcorn last league for a bit.

The leveling is comparable, though the damage on the non popcorn variant feels significantly lower until you get some gear. It did definitely suffer from the nerfs from last and this league until you made the swap to full poison.

I'd say I like leveling with popcorn more than hitbased/poison. But that likely because I'm more experienced with popcorn.

All in all they are quite similar.

Looks like this was a problem which was fixed in current patch:

Fixed a bug where the life leech from minion damage granted by the Necromancer's Bone Barrier Ascendancy Passive Skill was being applied at a tenth of its value.

Using this Helmet would work, but pay close attention to the Line "75% reduced Maximum Number of Summoned Raging Spirits".

SRS of Enormity has a maximum Number of Summoned Spirits of 6.

with that Helmet it would be reduced to 6*0,25 = 1,5 (PoE typically roundsdown) so => 1

so yeah... NO, don't use that Helmet ;-)

Update I’ll think you enjoyed but prolly going with the wackiest version of your build! So I found a decent elder helmet with minion damage, so I use that instead of diadem, then I got 2 bone rings with strength, and now I’m running koams heart. We’re a tanky boy with srs now! Also feels way less clunky if you can just summon spirits in their face.

So I decided to roll with Popcorn SRS this league, went a different direction with the build. This is a highly expensive setup, but I had the currency and wanted to see how far I could push it:
