Uber bosses needs more phases to prevent glass cannon builds killing them instantly

I do them in sessions and I can buy everything in a heart beat mass them buy them run them - > Until you get decent drops break even so you basically keep running until you break even or profit and I can tell you I have no broken even.

I can stream every single piece of bossing that I do like I don't know where the metric of the person above me thinks it's profits especially when it's all a gamble? An example was that link I just posted dude farmed 200 uber eaters and he didn't break even how is that a profit exactly? Look it his results that's not profit that's a waste of time.

Same concept as Mageblood card duping will you spend 100 divines to try and dupe it? Maybe some do but in the end it's still gambling you're not going to fully profit from this.

Surely there is an average though. You do them until you make profit does sound like gambling addiction, but if you can do hundreds you should be aware of the odds.
I disagree with post. If anything defense don't matter so people are playing the game correctly.

I played a squishy ice spear/freezing pulse build to start league. I moved to explosive arrow. Invested hundred divines in my EA for defense.

4.5k life, 40k evasion,20k armor, capped spell suppression, res, chaos, ailment immunity, still get one shoted non stop. I can't even take a hit from any boss mechanics. Either you know the mechanics or you die. So stacking damage is more efficient because the fight goes quicker.

Now I can kill any boss deathless as long as I have good damage. This game is all about exploiting glitching, abusing your way through. Its the crappy way the devs want the game to be.

That is why the devs nuke any build that has success in end game and why we only have 8 end game build people are playing.
Why should cowards with high defense be rewarder?
It is high risk high reward, i have so little ehp that i die in hideout and my reward is instantly killing pinnacle bosses.

Nah I don't agree. I built one of those glass cannon builds this league and it's pretty much useless in other content. And running uber bosses for profit is usually a big gamble, I ran about 50 uber mavens and just broke even.

I think it's fine to have builds that sacrifice the ability to do other content just to do bosses.

In fact, GGG recognizes this too. That's why they nerfed DD which required minimum investment to do big damage, those characters would invest 100% in defense and still be able to do uber consistently. Those builds are more problematic imo

There should be opportunity costs for all builds. You give up some, you gain some.

I am of the opposite opinion, bosses should have no phases in the sense that they should be damageable at all times. Maven should take damage during memory, elder during squids, and so on. I can deal with reduced damage, but invincible, hate it.
Uber Bosses are just an example of how far this game has fallen.

I'm still not sure why the community accepts the concept as normal. They have 70% less damage taken for no reason at all, ignoring every other design in the game. When developers start making exceptions and ignoring the core rule design on their own game it's a pretty big red flag.

They simply shouldn't exist. Player damage output should not be so royally screwed up to justify them. It's really not complicated. If you want a good end-game it needs to be dynamic and fair. I mean holy crap Izaro has better design than these "New Age" bosses.

GGG needs to focus on dynamics of the game and stop patting themselves on the back for mediocre boss designs. MMO raiding is the most boring thing ever unless you're in a progression guild and that's exactly what PoE feels like now in a nutshell. New boss, beat it. Now what?
