Uber bosses needs more phases to prevent glass cannon builds killing them instantly

The game is in a pretty bad state right now when it comes to stuff like this. I'm not sure who GGG was trying to appease by adding the 1-shot miner/trapper meta, but it's really not working out on the broader spectrum.

If you don't specifically build around it, your chances to get the unique (not to mention forbidden jewels) from any of the uber encounters are practically non-existent. I did a combined 150 exarchs/eaters (most of which were uber) this league and didn't drop anything worth more than a divine.

But at least GGG remade Dialla's, so technically, you don't need Ashes. /s

1. some fights are no fun so people just want to nuke them and be done.
2. GGG made the great error of making the Uber version the only one worth doing so people want to farm that instead. But how will they do it if the character is not ready? Just go glass cannon and nuke it as getting a well rounded build uber viable is way more expensive.
Thing is, you are punished alot already by going slow. Not just in terms of encounters per hour but also in the fights themselves with degens and the longer it goes on the scarier and more punishing it gets. Anything that isnt a true tank like RF Jugg is better off going for DPS as the cost for defense is too high in comparison.

For me it would make sense to just give us more life in general so we dont have to rely on Auras and 10 different mechanics just to stay alive. These problems are inevitable and I saw them coming years ago when they started adding uber bosses and awakened gems. The numbers are just insane in every aspect of the game today when they didnt have to be and impossible to balance.
Game is heading into a pretty bad direction if they keep designing contents like no hit Sanctum. Lets all make a 2nd character and spec everything into pure dps, zero resist, one hp, just to play farm end game.

Worst thing of all is they keep nerfing drop rates because of people doing this type of farming strategy but this nerfs only hurts the people who plays a normal build because they can't chain farm as fast as 1 hp build.

If a top top end char can do 10 million while a good char can do 2 million its only 5x the dps which is still a lot. But its not a ridiculous 100x the damage.

again, the fact that the damage can go so very ,very high STILL points to broken mechanics.

as I said, i'm actually very unsure at this point if it's intentional or not, but the fact remains that sometimes they nerf things hard. so that means GGG is paying attention. and yet, there's always one or more builds capable of insane DPS.

insane DPS should not be possible regardless of your investment. the very best builds should make impossible bosses possible, with good reflexes, but they shouldn't trivialize them.

and if they do, and your answer is to add invulnerability phases then you are tacitly admitting that you want builds like that to exist OR you are saying that you basically can't keep up.

could be a combination of both.

Not a bad idea.
Some characters are good at grinding maps and hitting level 100, some are good for killing bosses. I think that it ain’t that big of a deal if they want to make a glass cannon that’s forever stuck at level 88. They farm bosses, and I get random big drops from mapping, yesterday for example I got two apothecary cards from crimson temple… much easier than killing Uber bosses.

With 5 ways in the game, almost every player in softcore buys run from lvl 90-100.
Yea, the guy apparently farms apothecary cards like they are nothing but doesn't know that it is possible to comfortably level up to 100 on a character with less than 10k EHP
