[0.3] Chronomancer Megathread. WIP.
" Good work with the visual aid. There's a new cluster on the far left that looks like it's support for Fire damage maybe. But it looks like something for people that pick the Blackflame Covenant keyston. Like maybe GGG is trying to push people who pick it in that direction. |

" I am sure I could have, (and almost certainly am) missing a few nodes. I'm not as familiar with the left side of the tree, or indeed much of the fire-oriented stuff to really pick up the new stuff. But I thought it was interesting. one of the more interesting things is with the three lightning skills (Lightning quick, Drenched, and Branching Bolts shifted to the right, they should be in radius of a "From Nothing" Eldritch Will. It's AMAZING how much good stuff that I predicted it to hit in 0.3. https://x.com/venaliter/status/1959505170418618523 Lightning Quick, Branching Bolts, Drenched, Raw Mana, Aether Flow, Arcane Intensity, Controlling Magic (+ all those valuable small nodes), plus the new cluster of two notables that we don't know what they do yet, but they are almost certainly to do with Elemental Remnants. That's huge, huge value for that gem for any lightning caster. "From Nothing" Mind over Matter might even hit Calibration now, too, another huge burst of value. First and foremost, this thread is no longer exclusively about Cold Chronomancer.
In 0.3 GGG decided to make Sorceress use different elements with a synergy mechanic called Infusion. The guide is WIP. All current information is outdated, besides the general way of building using the Chronomancers' ascendancy nodes: Time Rift, Time Freeze, and Apex of the Moment. Anyway, here is how things are now. All ideas about anything are welcome; let's enter the brainstorming mode again. There are a lot of things to test and upscale, soon there will be more info. Let's have fun. ~~~ " Unfortunately, Spell Cascade has 0 interactions with Spell Echo. It goes with 1 comet first, then the second is cascading. Just 4 comets. As for the Walls - seems like yeah, no direct snapping them. Just a secondary chain reaction of snapping the target. Walls become just another utility spell, like Bomb. " I had a similar idea back then. Didn't pass a 5-minute test, unfortunately. " I agree, good work here. I actually have a secondary urge to test Chaos conversion with fire skills too. I don't remember if this kind of conversion can be double-dipped. If yes, then it's quite a legit option. " Good find. Hopefully, they won't be that expensive. |
