Hard crashing PC locks up

It's buried somewhere deep in the comments, but https://github.com/Kapps/PoEUncrasher this tool has been fixing my game for a bit now

Looks like they put in a patch to potentially address this issue just now:

0.1.0f Hotfix

Adjusted thread priorities to reduce CPU over-utilization. This can help prevent crashes under specific circumstances.

Alt-Tab now locks the PC client up. Can only kill the task. Did not happen prior to latest patch.

lol they didn't fix anything. It sounds like they read about poeuncrasher and the multi-threading without actually digging to find the root of the problem. Still get crashes in maps on juiced up rare stones because it's unable to find certain files of monsters

issue still persisting after 0.1.0f patch. seems particularly prevalent when loading into town. deleted everyhing in the appdata\roaming\poe2 folder just in case too.

same for me , pc crash before to be able to enter to login screen .

Judging by the replies, their multithreading "fix" didn't fix anything for anyone.

After hotfix las night I woke up running to pc, switched poe before work to run one map to see if crashes fixed= BOOM fucking crash on first map entering....

Surely they can look back at launch etc- it wasn't crashing 10-20 times just to launch poe at the beginning. Whatever they did with patches after caused all this shit

Crashing and freezing problems still persist after the patch.
Running ProcessLasso and BES used to prevent crashes,
but after the patch, crashes occur even when using these.
