For PoE1, if you played it and loved it, definitely write a positive review. As far as I know, the crash problems also exist there, but they are not as widespread as this issue. This, coupled with the fact that it is free to play, makes it deserving a positive review.

After they have fixed this issue I will switch my review to positive. However I will also put a caveat where they ignored an issue as important as this for almost a month with no meaningful communication.

No one is saying the gameplay is bad. If it was bad we would just refund the game and put it next to the others. The gameplay is really good despite many bugs. The problem is playing the game, which we cannot without risking damage to our computers.

To clarify:
A bad game is Diablo 4. You buy it, you play it, you don't like it, you cannot refund it because you had to play it to the endgame to see it was barren and therefore surpassed the maximum time you can play before requesting a refund, you seethe but cannot do much.

A bad game is Dragon Age: Veilguard, it is bad from the start, you refund it.

A harmful game is PoE2, you play it, and there is chance per crash per gameplay that it bricks your PC. The game is good, but it is harmful.

I am not asking people to write negative reviews because PoE2 is a bad game. I am asking people to write negative reviews because PoE2 has the potential to damage the hardware of its users and GGG is minimizing the issue.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.

While nothing that I have tried fixes the problem, this application is amazing and makes the game perfectly playable while automating the core affinity and priority.

I've written a positive review that also has a warning for this bug with solutions.

I don't think a negative review has the effect you want. People mostly look at the positive rate and don't dig deep. They may find this thread with a Google search, but only a few might look into the actual text.

So many negative reviews are just harmful to the game and given the philisophy GGG showed over the years they aren't having a big focus on selling more, rather than making a good game. So if you want this solved this will not be done via Steam, but via Forum, Reddit and that stuff.
And they are already aware of the problem.

I've trust that they do anything they can to resolve this.

It's very easy to ignore anything but the bottom line: money. It's clear GGG doesn't really care about addressing our concerns in a reasonable way that acknowledges that we are paying customers. They have done an abysmal job with support, not just with the crash issues. It's across the board. Read the accounts of players being blocked out of their own accounts.

So yes, bad reviews can be more effective than boosting a forum thread to 4000 posts.

Even if GGG themselves care more than they have demonstrated, their owners Tencent may not.

Finally I had to post bad review due to 5 times crash a day :)

Due to heavy flooding I can't exercise at my gym, so I leave a bad review for them. This will show them to put more effort into pumping out the water while the flood is still ongoing.

Dude, the fuck? More like your gym sold you an hour in the machine rooms and metal handles are barnished with some fucking toxic that are causing some hands to ache, and some others not.

Saying this is not on GGG when it's a widespread issue through Windows and Linux is like, too much whiteknighting. Go to sleep, or better yet, go buy more supporter packs, you haven't bought enough.
