POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Freezin every time I go to some town or different maps. Please fix this.

Anyone seen a post, reply or anything from GGG themselves regarding this problem? I haven`t and thats really dissapointing and frustrating.

this game cant work well 2 days in a row. one day everything is fine, then another day Fps drops and pc freezes. I tough is me, changed termal paste on my cpu and my gpu. I tryed to overclock everything, and all you can imagein trying to fix it. but no. its just horrible. My fps is around 70-90 depends of what map im playing, but when monsters start spawn it goes to 15. Basicly any event i start on the map, i have slide show. and this is happening only in this game. Cpu load goes to 10000%. and it dosent matter what i do its allways like that. yet another day, sometimes all my maps run at 100 fps and when monster spawns it dops to 40-50(acceptable). I dont have some high end pc, but stil, if i can run it well 1 day, that mean is not so bad. I7 8700k rtx2080ti.

- set target framerate to 60 (default)


Anyone could confirm this one? It still holds for me 2nd day.
I have poeuncrasher (v1.2.1 without admin) in background just in case.

I suspect it might be related to target framerate somehow.

9800x3d here. Happens to me on both Windows 24H2 and Linux (kernel 6.12) as well. This isn't just a Window problem, rather it seems the game is causing issues with how modern OS schedulers function on specific processors (and especially ones utilizing v-cache).

PoE2: A good, giving game
I hope they fix this soon, ive been scared to play because of the lock ups.. its putting me off the game.
I just get loading screen crashes when using rare stones randomly. Looking through the log files and seeing a lot of this:

Same for me. When location loading PC completly stuck and I need to reboot it forcely.

Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 26100) (26100.ge_release.240331-1435)
