POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Marvel Rivals and BOPS6 both run flawlessly and allow me to tab out, watch fullscreen videos on the other monitor, and generally use my computer. But yeah, it's NOT POE2 causing the problems.

Welp can't play,can't even pass thru cogwhell.
Been playing for a while without issue,only after reaching end game and mapping it started from stutter to random crashes and finally can't even pass thru chracter selection.


CPU 7800x3d
GPU 7900 GRE
Steam client



Tried:
1.CPU Affinity
2.POEuncrasher
3.Process Lasso
4.Reverting back from Win 11 to Win 10
5.BES 1.7.9
6.Redownload the game(twice)
7.setting up POE2 Launch options in steam
8.DX 12 to Vulcan

Yeah I have no problems running Hogwarts Legacy and CS2 on ultra. Never crash or anything.

I think I'm done. It's unacceptable to have a game even in EA to launch with this issue. It is actively damaging people's hardware the game should have been taken down and fixed week 1.

i have been playing for 14 hours now without a single crash after going back to windows 11 23h2, previously i was crashing once every 10 minutes.

in my case, everything was fine during the windows 23h2 build.

all the crazy game crashes started only after the 24h2 feature upgrade.

after doing some research, i learned this is much worst for people using

amd multithread cpus. i am using an amd 7800x3d and i get about 50% chance

to crash during zone/map loading. i also get a few crashes in game.



now microsoft just announced it will require users to update to 24h2 soon

because they will stop supporting 23h2 on oct 2025.


i know ggg is doing something about this and i hope they find a fix soon.
