POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Haven't played this since the second weak of early access and I'm never going to touch something that makes my brand new PC consistently lock up. This is beyond unacceptable.

If this isn't going to be resolved I'm never playing a GGG game ever again. Feels like they just stole my money lol.

And for the people who still seem to blame the consumers, you are braindead losers if you think a 4070 super, 32gb ram, ryzen 5 7600 PC should consistently lock itself because GGG can't make the game load properly. You don't release a game regardless of early access, beta or whatever and have such a critical problem and not fix that in 4 months. That is simply utter incompetence.

There's no question that this is either incompetence or straight up ignorance of the problem. Astonishing that people are sort of making excuses for GGG's response, or lack thereof, to this issue in these threads but you honestly just have to ignore those people because engaging with them isn't productive and just gives them a reason to continue to marginalize your bad experience. I'm glad I didn't spend more money than I did on this game (even though I paid $100 like an idiot, instead of $30), although some people really got it bad an paid up to 1k. As of right now I have less than 3.5 hours of playtime. I have more PC hard lock crashes than I have hours of playtime. :)

I'm sure your system runs literally any other game perfectly. I'm in the same boat, along with all the others who still experience freezing and have simply stopped bothering to check these threads. There's been no major developments since their last "fix" and I don't expect any coming updates to directly affect the issue unless GGG specifically claims it will. And I'm certain they (GGG) have no reason to not remain silent about this. As I said the "regulars" seem to have stopped posting in these threads.

Honestly? Best solution, and the dumbest possible thing ever for someone to do, is to just buy a cheap laptop and see if the game runs on it. Return it if it doesn't. That is, of course, if you're intent on getting your money's worth out of the EA period. At this point I don't expect GGG ever to fix the issue even past release. They seem to be just sort of waiting for the "dead weight" of the community to become silent and move on to other games.

For the first time in months I dared to launch the game and play a couple hours. No PC lock up so far, looking promising! Sadly the texture crashing issue still persists. I do hope that's on the to do list for GGG.

Performance overall could be better, it can be a bit stuttery despite my running a pretty high end setup.

Hi to all, I haven't been playing POE2 since week 2, because of the crash issue. Has the freezing and locking computer issue been solved? I don't want to run the game to damage my PC. Thanks

I am getting an Infinite Loading screen since yesterday's patch..... I keep losing portals to my maps, as sometimes they load and sometimes they dont........

I normally play from Canada(east) server, since the load bug appeared i tried many thing, but playing from another server like california (US) seems to have solved the problem for now. Please fix Canada (east) server if this is the causes

Seems like this still isn’t fixed? Unreal… Here’s hoping everything gets resolved in the next big update launching in 4.4. I haven’t been able to play for almost four months now, and it’s starting to feel really hopeless…

We really need more communication from GGG on this issue, especially in a thread this large. The radio silence is absurd and incredibly disrespectful to their customers.

didn't play since january because i see no evolution in this post(jsut few message bug GGG its not because your "fix"(which is not fix btwn) ;) just lazy ppl who played other game :p)
i played ff7rebirth 120H, kingdom come2 80H, avowed 30h etc not even 1 crash complete or desktop crash

yes they fix some crash because they got some logs

but as i already said
when complete freeze, the game can't catch the error and write it into log file...i dont think ggg level of dev can do it :D
and logging all action all time is no sens too
they just have to reproduce it by buying 1 machine with same prob
we send a lot of dx diag, chatgpt could find all information in common to help

they just won't make any effort for 1 problem

GGG add features and items
they don't optimize code

i saw vulkan can help, but GGG please add infos on your post 'issues in progress'
what option to choose? vulkan with this or not this etc
it could help us to have maybe a bad optimize game but not crashing

issue said crash dx12 render but vulkan is safe? you can add (vulkan is safe!)
or maybe add a --safemode arguments for the .exe?
