POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

guys need your help, i was enjoying poe2 last week got high fps like getting 60-80fps rx6600 r5 5600. another windows update and got half the fps today like 30 to 45fps what happened?

Same the latest windows update messed my game up. I'm now freezing in Poe 1 and Poe 2 again as before last week it was fine.

What fixes the freezing for me entirely is disabling core 0 in task manager. That give the computer enough background resources so you can end the program and relaunch it. However the freezing was fixed until a windows update a few days ago for me. I'm back to disabling core 0-1.

BES works for me.

I set a -5% limiter on the CPU with that app and haven't had a freeze in POE2 or while 8-boxing D2R ever since.

Yea naw they have it listed as "recently fixed" in the "known issues" now. Apparently if you are still crashing then you are f'd. Cuz they seem to think the problem has been dealt with. I just had a weird crash type thing happen today after a windows 10 update.... Monitor went black and then gave me the "no signal" msg. Could still hear the game making sound for a second, then nothing. Had to hit the power button on my pc but didnt have to hold it down like a real freeze. PC did the normal shutdown process and rebooted just fine. Kinda spooky thou. Dunno if I should be playing until they get their ducks in a row at GGG. Wonder if tencent knows about all this. Someone should @them a link to this thread on X lol.

eh non ca n'est pas réglé et je me fendrais la gueule vu que maintenant on ne peux pas contourner la 24h2 que le 4 mars tout les gros streamer plante et que ca plante le jeu en masse qu'il prennent ca au sérieux , entre ca et mettre le lancement de la maj 2 jours seulement après last epoch aui a du revoir sa sortie j 'ai bien envi de le desinstaller ce jeu de merde même si j'ai laché 400 euros de pack a sa sorti

Been AFK for a while and came back today to try it out. The game still freezes my whole PC... The recent fix that listed in the Known Issue thread did not fix this issue.

Not going to bother with the game again until this is fixed universally. Plenty of better games that don't freeze my PC as though it were 1997.

Just move on with your life, this is never going to change.

GGG does not care for their community nor do they respect player time.

Just had another crash, pm'ed my info the GGG, but 544 pages and no solution doesn't bring me much hope.

Ilove the game, but I haven't had an issue like this in almost 30 years, back when I still used a Pentium Computer.

Once this gets solved, IF it gets solved, I would like to know wtf the issue was. Heck they could probably write a whole documentry about it.
