[POE2] Disconnects PC from internet when trying to log in.

Hi,

I have the same program since release.
This goes so far that I can only boot into the BIOS after the PC reset and the SSD hard disk is no longer recognized.
Usually after trying a 2-4 you could play.
Since today's update, however, this has gotten worse and I can no longer play and think that my SSD already has a light - difficult defect.

Who pays for the costs of the customers here ...

I am very disappointed that such a problem has been known for so long and nothing has been done about it !!!

having this same issue

Load up POE2 via steam, and then the internet just hangs on my computer

I have my work computer next to me and that works fine, nothing else in the house drops out

Only just started happening today, its super weird

okay i saw someone else saying the wifi security settings fixed it so i attempted and changing my wifi settings from

wpa2-psk to auto

it works for a little bit but then my internet hangs again god damnit

after the last update i have the same problem..

Same issue for me. The game manages to break internet connection for the whole PC - nothing else can connect to the internet.
It never happens outside of playing PoE2, and other devices connected to the same router can still access the internet.

Would be great if the game did not mess with the connection for the whole PC. Just crash and give up, do not take the whole OS's connectivity with it.

Update on my end:
I pulled an ethernet cable through the whole apartment to see if it makes any difference.
If i play with wifi completely disabled, it works.
If i keep both interfaces up, PoE2 breaks both of them (wired has to be restarted to work again).

Can it just... Not mess up any devices here? I kinda worry it's going to randomly conflict with other hardware after future updates.

This is interesting, as POE 2 also kills my internet, everytime I shut the game down. Because of this I have stopped playing it. It's like my router shuts down. My internet then goes into slow mo, and remains there at dial up speeds until I reboot it.

Same thing. Intel Wi-Fi 6E card on Windows 11. Windows Firewall disabled, all other cards disabled. Just blocks the connection.

I am also experiencing this same issue.
