We Need In-Game Instant Buyout Trading — Not Just the Trade Site
this 100% trying to do trade is so anoying and I hate it. the amount of times i have also just had them change the price when i got to buy is crazy. "id like to buy x item for 15 ex" and then get told "sorry is 20 now" when shit was on the site for like 2-3 days

" not really, you look at marketplace/ah and see what your tiem is listed for and you either under cut to sell quick or over price bc you want more and are willign to wait for cheap items to sell first. its prety hard to way under price your item on accedent with an ah because there is no price fixing. when you look at trade site for popular items the entire first page is price fixing and leads you to belive your item is worthless, unless you use a third party extension its verry hard to accuratly price an item with the amount of scamers/price fixers |

+ for auction or instant buyout system.
Trade is already automated, many people use addons to make it faster and they even response with automated messages. Trade doesnt need to have x confirmations like it is now. One for listing and one for buying is far enough. Im sure 99% traders who like trade system as it is now are either tradebots or economy speculators (scammers?)... |

" Some sort of friction would reduce bots. Then again, they have so many accounts they’d probably find a way around it… |

" I don't know why I keep reading posts about how to "reduce" or "deal with" bots. 99%+ of trade bots respond quickly and trade the item shown for the listed price. All of the problems that people complain about -- AFK sellers, people who try to jack-up the price at the last minute, straight-up scammers, etc. are humans. If you reduce or eliminate bots, not only will all of the problems get immediately worse, but trade volume will plummet causing massive inflation. |

" Or you know, you could also make a game that rewards the player with enough high-quality loot, so they are not pressed to buy anything that is overpriced. Right now the flipped, overpriced gear is being sold and RMT is everywhere, because as a normal player you're not expecting to find that kind of stuff ever with the current loot tables and lack of crafting. RMT is so high right now (I'm getting spammed by bots like every 5 minutes) couse the stuff on the market is just SOOOOO much better than the stuff you can actually find through normal gameplay. I have 555 hours in both leagues and only found like 2-3 items worth 1-5 DIVs each. It's the scarcity and trash quality of loot that makes RMT as big as it is right now. If the rewards for playing the game were fair, no one would care to RMT and the botters would not decide the prices. Последняя редакция: KubaLy#4534. Время: 17 апр. 2025 г., 21:57:18

" Guy you can't just leap from "I'm getting more whispers" to "RMT is everywhere." I could just as easily say that an increase in bot activity indicates a decline in RMT transactions which might compel them to deploy additional bots in an effort to drum up more business and compensate for the decline in traffic. To be clear I'm not actually making that claim, I'm just saying I have as much evidence to support it as you do to say that "more whispers" must mean that RMT activity is increasing (this is not even touching on the fact that just because you're receiving more whispers doesn't mean everyone is - I got them all throughout 0.1 and haven't had any yet this League). |

" And I fully agree with that, because what I said is not about whether or not they have a decline or increase in the amount of transactions. I only pointed out their overwhelming presence and price manipulation practices. I sure hope the amount of spamm I'm getting is due to their business not going well. However the sheer amount of whispers I get and the bots I meet every time I use poe2trade site clearly shows the scale of the problem. And don't take it from me, couse I can see you've clearly got some issues with what I'm saying, nit-picking sentences out of context just to then try and break them down. I don't care much about further back-and-forths with you. Just ask other random people who use trade very often if they think "this place" is full of bots or not. |
