Lunaris Temple 2, viable solo farm?

I was passing through LT2 on my way to L3 when I realized that the mobs downstaris are easier, the area is smaller and there is even that "unique" mob (we know that's you Brutus.. Cut it out) downstairs to possibly drop those coveted lvl 68 uniques..

The only reason I can ever see going upstairs is looking for Piety.

One thing I did notice, that may or may not just be me is that rarity seems to suffer some kind of penalty on this floor. Idk if it's just this floor, this area, or bad luck or what.. But coming in from the docks where I had around 2 yellow drops off every rare (50% IIQ/200% IIR).. I'd be lucky if the unique mob drops 1 rare every 5 runs at Lunaris.

Anyone else doing the LT2 thing?

Ya I like to farm that area as well. I am pretty sure is was on floor 2 that I recently found a unique map and an exalted orb. Definitely makes me want to keep running it.

Yeah I have been getting some xp on lvl 2 also and noticed that Kole doesn't drop much. Using 170 rarity and 11 quantity. Killed him about 20 times this weekend.

Moving down to lvl 3 next to see if its drops are any better. Probably not since there is no boss down there until you reach piety.

Kole did give me a meginords recently. That was somewhat encouraging.

It may not count as a real boss, but there is a whipping miscreation unique in Lunaris 3.
Cruelflay maybe? I'm not sure about the name, but there is definitely a unique other than piety.

Well I haven't played these areas since they upped the map levels (I'm currently leveling an alt), however, I'm surprised that anyone who would have no difficulty at all with Kole would be challenged by anything on Lunaris 3 (other than Piety). I would solo Lunaris 3 all the time while map hunting, but typically just Quicksilver right past Kole. Not worth the XP loss risk.

Kole is just like brutus tactics are the same, mostly running in circles for a few minutes getting one hit here one hit there, well thats how I do it melee anyway.

So are you farmming the level the WP is in and then going downstairs up to piety and stopping?ive been doing the new catacomb runs but now bored maybe ill move on...I always noticed my best drops seem to come in the area before piety with all the cages if that helps any

Cole just dropped these for me at the same time, and i have like 30% rarity
