Lunaris Temple 2, viable solo farm?

All he ever drops for me are white items D: I wish I had some of your luck!

My first kill of Kole with 40% IIQ and 130% IIR resulted in 4 whites and 7 blues. I had done it pre-patch without any magic-find and gotten several rares. It was at that point that I decided Piety was more worth it.

I solo piety for:
1) exp
2) loot

But I only do that if my 30k dps cleave marauder friend is not around to baby sit me through 70 maps, as I cullstrike with my mf gear for him =)


Last two days the pyramid map (sold for 1ex) and alpha hood (1ex 11gcp) dropped for me, and that's about 10 runs total, not too bad.

Kole is just like brutus tactics are the same, mostly running in circles for a few minutes getting one hit here one hit there, well thats how I do it melee anyway.

Well I'm ranged, and that's how I do it, too. If you time things right, he can't hook you. But it only takes a little bad luck to ruin your whole day. Anyway, to me, Kole is harder than anything on Lunaris 3 other than Piety. Granted, for solo XP farming I'd typically avoid both. I was just saying if one is willing to take on Kole, then the trash mobs and other such on Lunaris 3 aren't particularly hard. There's that orange labeled whip bitch that's often down to the right on the L3 entrance, but she's not as hard as Kole.

Can't even bother to kill those bitches lvl 3 when you can trash dual bosses in MF gear on maps solo.

very dangerous area even with a titicus span (+200% armor vs projectiles and +45% block chance vs projectiles )
you can die to titty monsters

Level 3 is considerably harder, especially with those chest dart throwing female mutants.

and if you have vulnerability cast upon you, those darts can really hurt if not kill you if you are not careful.

Piety is also hard if you dont have the gear to solo her.

I'll try this. Been spending my time in catacombs to no avail. Rares hardly drop and I'm running almost 200/100 in MF.

I did lv2 then lv3 those last few days since the patch. But imo they are not worth it without IIQ build, and without piety included. I kill Khole and the other rare at lv3, but the drop is abysmal, like a couple of rare, and an armor to chance... I got a single map in like 10+ runs; which are pretty long because lv3 is huge, so those are like 30min/1h runs. And khole is always super scary to take down, he desynch a lot and he can probably one shot me with his slam, so the combination is always risky.


I'll try the Catacombs these next few days, but i don't think it will be better tbh, might get one or 2 more maps from the new scribe stuff, if i'm luckly, and since i need maps it might be better for me. I'll see then which is better, but cold is the only resist i haven't maxed, that's why i did lunaris.

Especially if you're melee, trying to get through some of those narrow passages can mean instant death.
