GGG put max cap on MOVEMENT SPEED and DPS. This is the only guaranteed solution for OP builds!!

Worst idea I've seen for a Diablo-clone. Capping stats lmfao. SOme people really need to pull their head out of their ass and stop getting jealous over stupid shit (such as people running flavour of the month builds). And if your pride gets hurt so much that you can't take it. Then just make the same build and stop crying. The game is likely going to have certain builds which are just performing better than others on a season by season basis so get use to it.

If you're comparing yourself to others though, then clearly you shouldn't be theory crafting your own builds until you have more knowledge on the game. Just run whatever is popular/strongest that way you won't get butt hurt. "lol the game is what it is. Do you think they're going to redesign over a decade worth of game design (poe1 was released in 2013) just because some players get salty that their own self made build is not as good as the current most powerful builds in the game? The solution is not to make every build hit a ceiling or cap. The solution is you either copy/run the most powerful builds or you get enough knowlede on the game that you can make your own self made builds which can compete. |

Don't give a rats behind what "OP" builds people are playing. I play my own "crappy" builds and enjoy it. I don't want to take away other people's fun just because I can't make my build one shot every screen and every boss. It's more important players not following some guide or meta can make a decent viable build for all content. They should try ensuring all skills/ascendancies are viable if invested enough into. |

"meaningful combat" is nonexistent, already proved. 99% of players want to have fun and play the build they like the most, the build which is strong. poe2 gonna become updated poe1 very soon. GGG will never add such system as caps, the only cap existing now is DOT damage cap which is 36 million dot DPS.

" Right now the OP builds are well known and if someone wants them it's easy to try them. But the real problem is not this. People expect all buulds to be worthy and not only 10-20%. This called balance. And every game that respect his customers, it has it. Poe2 is something between Poe1's clone, salad, and early Access. Devs have a lot of work until final release.
