Poe1 has its flaws and is also an amazing game. Both can be true.
Poe2 is beautiful but the majority of its combat against white mobs is a slog and a chore, the boss fights are great, unfortunately 80% of the game is white mob slog. White mobs shouldn't need 3 combos to kill, its asinine and makes me slowly hate this game. Everything else is fine imo. I have probably 8 to 10k hours in poe1, maybe 5 to 7k in supporter packs (its been so long hard to know), etc. I can't really bring myself to buy much of the new supporter packs anymore due to the slog. I have a hard time staying engaged to poe2 due to the perpetual slog. my 2 cents for what its worth You know it takes to farm? It takes BRASS BALLS to farm items and currency. " My thoughts exactly. How do you even do their "combo gameplay" when a hundred mobs 10x faster than you are instantly on top of you. Honestly am fine with the combo stuff for bosses but for just going through maps that shouldn't be the case. It's not a difficult game, I just get annoyed/bored slowly sluggin along through map after map It just feels SO slow and unfun and every single thing has to have a downside or 7 hoops to jump through. It's ridiculous |
