Moderation bias leads to even more toxicity

I’m talking about the 2 opposite threads discussing slow gameplay and zooming. The original was deleted with no explanation whatsoever, yet the other one remains. What gives? How is that helpful in any way? (It’s not)
If you’re going to delete an entire thread like that, then delete the other one as well. Otherwise you’re essentially pouring gasoline into the fire. Which I doubt this is what you’re being paid to do. Last bumped9 дек. 2025 г., 05:59:33

What you need to understand, is the name of a thread is not the only thing that defines that said thread but the actions and intents behind it.
OP of the other thread probably has crossed the line multiple times and was moderated. Since his thread led to multiple violation of TOS, it was then terminated. It's a very good thing it happened. The other thread that is currently existing is still there if you want to voice your opinion. |

" It does represent you, you can voice there that you are against blasting, it's a window of of voicing your opinion. Or you can create a new thread, in which you stay within the bounds of TOS to express your opinions if you think it's worth making one. GGG will not delete your thread just because you are advocating for slow game play. On the other hand, if you attack people personally and/or cross the line, then they should also close that thread since you were the OP and the team will accurately form that your thread was designated to rage bait people. |

It's in GGG best interest to stop threads that are designed in a way to rage bait people, especially when the OP goes against the TOS several times in that said thread. He is currently in probation and his thread was deleted because it triggered too many instances of people posting stuff against the TOS. GGG wants what best for their game. If they end up choosing that slow play is what the vast majority players want, then so shall it be. I personally wouldn't like that and it would make me furious and I would voice my anger. That being said, if I'm acting like a total asshole and I start crossing the line over the top then I understand I'm taking the risk of getting muted. Just avoid insulting people using slurs and such. Just defend your ideas, even if you are passionate about them and even show anger in them, they will not mute your for that. They even let people use bad words, as long as you don't use them against someone directly... You can even call me out thinking what I'm saying is BS, thats not against the TOS. Then you argue its creator went against the TOS on other posts and he got moderated. Ok. And? I fail to see the connection between those 2. Will my threads get deleted if I go against the TOS on random posts? In any case. If that thread got deleted, then the other one should too. That’s common sense and what’s just. |

The thread that’s still up was started as a tongue in cheek jab at the original that got deleted.
The fact that ggg mods deleted the original and let the tongue in cheek troll thread slide is fucking hilarious. At least we know where not to spend our Xmas $, or any at all for that matter. Hey ggg, you accept farts in a jar? No? Ok I’ll just blow it your direction. |

I think whats even worse is the second one was made in response to it. With the same few people just kind of saying the same thing they already were.
