Moderation bias leads to even more toxicity

Pretty meta to have a vitriolic post claiming that removing vitriolic posts for being too vitriolic creates more vitriol.

I really wanted to try to squeeze in one more use of the word but I'm not sure how. Vitriol.

nah m8. that move was/is 100% cow patty. but, hey, it's their playground. if i don't like it, then i should just mosey on.

Moderation on these forums are utterly wild.

I've been banned and had my posts removed because I wasn't circle jerking or had an opinion which the didn't like. I'm never going to give GGG any money ever again because of that.

Thanks for sharing. I don’t know when you did this because I didn't see it when I read your original post but to put it bluntly, it was a stupid decision.

Having said that, that thread wasn’t just your own. Many of us voiced our opinions in there in ways that we felt represented us. I say they should bring it back but edited so it keeps its original point intact.

Moderators actually do a lot of work, I couldn't count how many times I've seen "removed by..." in posts. So kudos to moderators. Which, btw, have not seemed biased. No matter the topic, I've seen their edits on both sides of the issue. They don't discriminate.

I find it very interesting every single one of you who openly agreed in the other thread, came here and said the moderators aren’t biased. Yeah, that checks out 😂 Of course they’re not biased according to you because they deleted the thread opposing your views. In other words, confirmation bias.

Uh actually...if you had read through either thread you would have found me disagreeing with the topic removed. They should stop nerfing and starting buffing what isn't played. And take out 1-shots. And fix huge empty maps. And let us play the game how we want to play. Every update they see players happy about something so they kill it and just suck the fun options out of the game.

I agree with that, a simple post edit would be enough, its hard to tell what actually happened to end like that. Maybe because there were tons of ppl trying to diminish us in an aggressive way, which lead to lots of ppl getting rage baited by those players. I dont know. In the second twisted threat ppl that advocates for slower pace wrote there too, but in a softer and more polite way. In ours some really ragy ppl from the other side showed up and turned it into a little messy place. So it prob was easier to just delete maybe, altho i dont aggree at that point like you. But it is what it is. Next time i will be more careful
