As long as Trial of the Sekhemas and trial of chaos exist, poe 2 can never be a good game
" Just walk behind every monster, all Sekhema trial monsters are slowed down and take 5 seconds to do one attack. Monster melee attacks are not automatic hits, you can avoid them just like you do in a Souls game. |

" "Perfect" for YOU. I swear, every single post on this forum coming from you people is full of gaslighting. Your PERSONAL, SUBJECTIVE opinion is not a OBJECTIVE TRUTH. While at the same time you people treat objective facts like it's just an opinion of the minority, while in reality you are the minority. All of you seem to have a very hard time understanding that concept. Both of these trials are interesting in their own way and can be easily completed with different builds. Steam reviews do not lie, the vast majority of people love the game and are happy that PoE 2 is not just another PoE 1 in different skin. PoE 2 is already a great game, whether you like it or not. And it will only get better with, or without you playing it. The devs know what they are doing, they know their game and they are clearly moving in the right direction. Whether you people agree or not is irrelevant. Øvè®þðwé® Øvê®®ûn Øvè®çðmé

actually i find both trials are in good place. They are trials, its nice they can provide at least a bit of challenge, at least once for a character. The best part of them is they are not zoom zoom (chaos is kinda actually)

" +1, dude. I love Trial of the Sekhemas and i did it with a melee and range characters. It is much, much better than a Sanctum and i hope, that even if cuz of ppl it will be removed as a trial, then its still will be a part of the game in some way. In my opinion, some ppl who hate that trial do not even understand how relics works. And about Trial of Chaos, im not a fan, but its also getting too much hate. Both of them are much, much more challenging than boring labs. And i like it. Последняя редакция: its_sovren#3450. Время: 15 дек. 2025 г., 13:49:56

I really enjoy doing both trials. There are really unique, forcing you to adapt to overcome them. Its also a nice endgame content.
Way better than poe1 Labs imo, where you just focus in dashsing like a a madman until the end, without any fun mechanic. |

I understand frustration of people who just want to get their ascendancy point and be done with sekhema for good and being forced at this moment to do it twice certainly doesn’t help. But as much I hated the trial in 0.1 and 0.2, trying to brute force it, in 0.3 I actually stopped and listened to advice from other players and learned to actually appreciate it.

Could not agree more. Last time I started a new char (maybe 6 months ago) I realized after about 3 levels that at some point I have to do the trials again and just quit. I can not make myself go through them again. And they locked a core part of all builds behind these god awful systems...

" You aren't forced to do it twice, or even once. You can do either of the trials (with a 3rd coming) to complete any number of ascendancies. |

" Exactly how i feel about sekhemas and the people who base their entire ego on being good at a videogame And before anyone says anything i beated all floors of TOS by myself, which is not challenging at all with decent a ranged character, but it doesn't change the fact that i still think it's an awful experience. |

I can't fucking stand them being required for ascendancies.
Leave them in as standalone mechanics, no problem with that. I'm so amazingly done with them being mandatory though |
