Melee Gameplay Is Not It

As a lot of people i was excited to try the shapeshifting skills. Decided to go full on the werewolf form, its my first time playing melee and the experience is just frustrating. A lot of the monster mods seem to be extra punishing against melee, same as the layouts and monster abilities. The no regen above 50% circle mod, temporal bubble, volatile plants, after death effects.. all of this seem to be extra punishing against melee play style with nothing offered to counter act.
Either more tools need to be given for melee builds to deal with this, or mods like this need to be looked at and improved. It really kills the fun in making builds in this style.

i noticed if i move around alot and not stand in the same spot it works great. Im running bear right now and its a blast. Monk last season was fun too

Yeah, i m level 30 playing bear, lot of armor energy, defense nodes still dies pretty easy.

I played melee in this game since day 1 and sadly it feels really bad.



merc, sorc and any other ranged have the game way way easier

The devs who are making this game never played melee ever i can guarantee that.

To make the D4 melee looks good somehow you got to fuck up hard.

LOL, yeah nice original freedom build, maybe after like 10 updates they will come with something truly good
