don't you know man. There is only 1 way to play an ascendancy because my favorite streamer told me that no other way is viable. I went on reddit and they all said the same thing. So clearly there is only 1 way to play an ascendancy so you're wrong.

The original comment was going on about 32% of Druids (20% Shaman, 12% Oracle) on PoE2 ninja

And theres no Shaman and Oracle on Ladder. This means that no matter how over-picked the Druid in this league, they're objectively behind and less efficient than other Classes / Ascendancies.

THere is 200,000 players in game playing. You are looking at the top 1000 which is the top .1% of players. Just because, those players picked a certain class does not mean other classes are less efficient or behind.

If you saw 200,000 cars driving and 1,000 of them were Honda civics...does that mean all the other cars are less efficent? behind?

No it doesn't. it represents nothing but what they are comftable playing and have theory crafted with known data. No sane person is gonna try to get to the top 1000 and use a brand new class without knowing all the synergies and everything involved in that class.

No they chose what they always chose. They used past experiences and theorycraft to find a class that suits their need. Just because a class/ascendancy can make it to the top 1000 in the ladder does not mean the rest are not viable for end game content or even just viable period.
