Constant "an unexpected disconnection occurred"

Hi, I've been having this problem with PoE since I moved to new place recently. I live in Finland, my ISP is the same one I've been using before moving and I can play other online games with no problems.
I can login to game normally but I can't stay in the game without getting constant disconnections. They happen very frequently and sent me instantly to login screen. I have very hard time to even run from town to mud flats without disconnection. I've been using all the gateways but it has been no help. I also ran PackCheck on PoE folder and it said everything's fine. Anyone able to provide any help? I'd really like to start playing the new league. :-) Последняя редакция: heinamies#6704. " Hey there, Would you be able to provide some details about your setup? Are you using a wireless or wired/ethernet based connection? Do these issues only occur during the day or every time you play etc? Also, can you please run some trace routes when you next experience the problem, and/or even run trace routes while playing, just so we can collect some data and diagnose this further for you. I'm using a cable internet (to be precise, I have a cable router and a wireless router plugged in after it so my girlfriend can use her laptop better, so 2 routers in chain). I used the same setup before in my last apartment. The issues seem to be little better during morning/day, but I still get disconnected so often every time I play that it's not possible to enjoy the game.

I'm getting this issue too.

" You've got horrible packet loss coming straight out of your router. I'm not sure why... but my guess is that is what is causing most of your problems. Are you on a wireless connection by any chance? |

Wired, every other game works great with low ping and low packet loss.

Hello heinamies and benmandude,
Both of you have issues with your connection, after reviewing the trace routes you posted, I'd recommend speaking to your provider. Anytime there is packet loss or latency spikes between you and our servers, you'll run into disconnect issues. As you say other services/games work fine, this doesn't prove your connection is any better than it is. Not all services/games work the same and some are more sensitive than others. Path of Exile would be one such game that requires a very healthy connection, otherwise you'll run into disconnect issues. The alternative to disconnecting from the game would be lagging and eventually dying as a result of latency spikes/packet loss, which isn't desirable, so although you are having these troubles and they are frustrating, it is not as bad as losing a character to lag. |

Same issue for me. I can play BF3 and other games just fine, but I can hardly play this game with all of the disconnects.
