Mini-Expansion: Passive Skill Tree Reset [Dev Info]

Everything should be first here, in the forum.
This comment reminded me of what I once asked in forum title,''what is wrong with the forum chris?''
Chris' response:
"
Back in the day (i.e. 2011), I was able to read every single post on our forum. It took a lot of time, but was really useful and fascinating. Now, due to increased workload managing 43 people, I have to assign developers to read the forum and to reply, occasionally letting me know highlights of what was discussed. I try to read as much as I can, and reply to specific areas where I have expertise. The problem is, my job is scheduling currently un-discussable content. For any other topic, there's a better member of our company to reply. Once we're able to talk about our release plans in more detail, I'll be more useful in those conversations :)
To actually answer your question: The specific thing I'd love to see changed about our forum is that it's very hard for developer replies deep in a thread to get attention. On reddit, if I reply to correct something, it gets upvoted to the top of the thread and is immediately obvious. On our forum, because threads quickly fill many pages, developer replies are seen by few people. Some people understand that they can filter threads to just developer replies, but then they miss the context of what was being replied to. I'd like to put budget towards improving the way our forum software works in the future, but that'll be after release.
Note that I (like millions of other people) use reddit as a news/entertainment site. Due to being subscribed to the /r/pathofexile subreddit, its posts appear in my feed, which is why I'm exposed to lots of tiny questions that are very fast to answer.
Remember that I do post daily news updates to the forum. I don't post them to reddit. The news may not be major each day (though it's about to ramp up substantially as we approach release), but it's a habit that I've personally found very useful.

Wouldn't a simple Q&A about hot topics posted in the forums be a nice solution to this whole problem? The Q&A would be posted on the main news page for easier attention. While sure, they wouldn't be able to answer questions or discuss topics in real time, but at least there's some discussion at all that isn't hidden in 20+ pages of a normal forum thread.
So for example the question of "will there be a passive skill reset in 1.1?", that would appear in the Q&A, with the appropriate developers answer. Something like once a week or 2 weeks on a certain day, just post a Q&A and I think it would ease some tension regarding certain things about the game.

But GGG is the one who made the forum.
My suggestion: Each (at least Chris) Post do 2 things:
1) Add a GGG icon to teh left of the thread title.
2) Rise the thread up between stickied threads and other threads for 1-2 or more days.(Maybe even rise forums on the index)
Selling logs: /view-thread/782113(very high speed)

I don't like what I'm hearing, all three of my pro builds make use of the marauder and maraduer/duelist tree... and I'd feel more then pissed if my marauder, which is a good all-around toon would get completely screwed by the changes GGG is about to implement. It's 50-50 really, it will make or break my chars.
Can people drop the forum vs reddit thing already? It goes answered on reddit because it got asked on reddit, period.
I don't know. I think it's sort of indicative of how out-of-control they've let these fora become that they feel the need to post on reddit at all, Vaine. This forum, the 'official' forum of Path of Exile, isn't 'home' for the devs anymore. They've been run off their own forum.
That definitely isn't something that should be dropped.
As for Qarl posting this first in a sub-forum, it was actually an edit to an older post:
Also, that edit was merely to unsticky it, I'd say.
His only other response was to say just that. Actual information about respecs and details appeared first on reddit.
Why are we even posting here?
They post quite a bit on the boards here, the dev's have different groups of people that all enjoy the game. Some prefer using Reddit some prefer using Twitter and some prefer here on the boards - if the dev's never responded anywhere else, I don't think that would be a good decision at all.

It's strange because I was expecting Templar and Marauder/Templar area changes.
The old man has a serious identity issue right now, and is the least played class.
Are you kindding me?
Templar has the best start since beta.
To buff Templar, you just have to enable elemental builds.
