Crashes during Piety

Server disconnects and crashes have made it IMPOSSIBLE to kill Piety in Cruel difficulty. Every time my party is fighting Piety the game freezes and crashes(failed to respond) and my whole party gets kicked. I know this because the public party disappears from the party list.

I've tried just over 5x now and every time is a disconnect.

Notes:

- Always a full party
- Starting at Level 2 WP
- Most people are using auras. Main ones are Clarity & Purity.
- Skills used are varied. Main ones are Freezing Pulse, Zombies, Heavy Strike and Poison Arrow.
- All party members use the red portal to get to the boss room (instead of TPing in from town)
- Framerate drops alot just before the disconnect
- Disconnect can happen at anytime. One time it happened within a minute, one time it happened just as she died.

I've heard soloing fixes the problem, so it might have something to do with group numbers.

For the love of god, is this fixed yet? I got crashed 4x after spending 2-3 hours clearing and getting her down to 25% with a group. My last crash party was filled up.

Not sure if it's the same thing cuasing the problem, but I'm now on attempt 15+ in Normal.

EVERY time I die, I end up back at town ... regardless if I use a TP direct to the battle or outside the red portal, my client crashes & I never get back.

I think I was approx lvl 29 / 30 when I 1st attempted her ... now I'm lvl 37 !!

It's getting VERY frustrating & is going to force me to not take part in the battle in case I die (just run around killing the red or blue circles on the ground instead).

For a 2 handed Melee Witch using Resolute Technique ... that's annoying.

I'd like to +1 on this one. I even made a post of my own reporting it.

Have had this happen three times today, Piety cruel hardcore mode. Game freezes up for me after fightning Piety for a while and the computer doesn't respond at all. Have to turn of the power and restart the computer.
Pretty annoying since each time after this bug the party has ended up killing her before I have had a chance to join in and get the quest. Seems like there is no way for me to get the quest done.

Didn't have this problem in normal difficulty but then I played solo, perhaps that is what causes it.

Really hope this gets fixed. My marauder isn't strong enough to solo cruel piety so need to play in a party to get the quest done.

Once again a fix for this bug is needed since some of us have this bug happen every time we try and kill Piety. Would really like to experience merciless difficulty and not be stuck in cruel.

I have exactly the same issue as the author of the topic. The crash happened about 7 times. All in cruel difficulty. No crash before my party entred Piety's room. I can sign under Hojirozame details of the event, they were almost the same. Plus, I (as witch) use mostly cold skills (freezing pulse, cold snap, ice spear are the major). The crash happened always when I was in Piety's room, once (or twice?) when I was in portal from town to Piety's room. Mostly, Piety was out of my view when the crash occured. There were some totems on the ground (they used offensive skills mostly). Many times people died and traveled through the blue town portals. There were normal monsters in this room as well, the ones summoned by Piety. The party usually was full. I suppose the crash occured when Piety was about to change her form.
