GGG, any plans of making theese awesome auras work for casters? Right now it seems that they only benefit melee´s would be awesome if they also affected casters for example lets say Fireball specced witches, arcers freeze pulse etc you get where im going. Seems like melee has an advantage over the auras vs casters.

some spells could do with it, but others it would make too powerful...i guess the solution is to buff other spells in a similar way to the buff to arc IGN Butternutsss

Melee only has these 3 auras as direct damage buffs and casters already have being ranged as their biggest advantage.

Sure good points but still you can put all auras to use as a melee but not as a caster. I just feel its something missing when playing as a caster cant really go any dmg auras except from haste aura.

" If all damage auras worked for casters then why should anyone ever play as a melee? The point in melee is damage and the point in casters and archers is range. You cant have it both ways. Either or, casters are powerful as it is with summoners and other great builds that beat melee chars on so many lvls. |

If spells need a boost, boost the spells, don't balance via auras. That would be a horrible solution.

Casters DO indeed need some love.
It seems no matter what caster I'm trying to build, it all comes down to crit and/or EE. And that is pretty dull in my eyes. "Spell damage nodes? Why touch them, just go crit...?" But I don't thing auras is the way to go. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Phrazz: I feel the same way, maybe auras would be to op if they work for casters but at least put a buff on them so they get dat love u know.

" I never had a EE build yet, 1 spell crit i think but thats it. I have 1 Avatar and 2 tri ele witches 1 being a CI and a templar with cold spells and a mace. Not to mention my cold skill witch and my fire skill witch and guess what, my lightning skill witch. |

I feel as though zero range enchantments (which is pretty much the function of auras right now) would be a good way to implicitly buff self-casting.
But auras as they stand are probably not the way. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
